As the total number of people decreases, the fewer options you have to mislynch. You also have voting patterns, death patterns, and more meaningful discussion to go off of so you're not randomly lynching.

No lynch is a terrible idea.

Also, note that Doc is now the new Vanilla Townie, which makes Vigilante the scarce resource. Roughly 1/3 to lynch anti-town, 1/6 to lynch useful town power role (plenty of doctors to go around, I won't even consider them a power role). Odds are actually pretty good.

inb4 I see your preview, and I raise you this:
Lynching is town's only surefire way to eliminate scum. Vigilante kills can be protected against.

By the way, I give you brownie points for voting patterns. Death pattern, on the other hand, is extremely wifom-y. I would not trust that.
