A meta means nearly nothing, so I don't think that's a very good question. Anyways, I've never played with you, so I don't think anything of your meta. ;)

The only reason I meta'd Nocmen was to check the validity of this statement:

On a sidenote, why did you come in to only leave this comment? No RVS vote?

I don't know any of the players at all in this list. So I don't have any past grudges to go against.

As it turns out, the only time he RVS's is when he has played with the player in the past.

Pro-town post? I hardly did or say anything. I may be newer than you but, here's some tips:

1. Don't decide if a person is scum or town based on a single post.

2. Scum can be/fake pro-townishness.

I'm loving the easy going nature of the game so far. Shame it'll probably change soon.

What do you mean by easy going nature? Cobbler, why would you tell someone they might be wrong if they say you're pro-town. I don't quite understand that.

You changed an RVS vote based on someone having similar play to yours. Therefore you see that the other person could be town as you know that you're town (hypothetically). That is definitely protown.

I didn't decide that you were town. Your post was protown.

I am well aware of the fact. I am indeed not a dumbass.

Unwanted buddying. Scum can buddy town.

So that's you're logic? I was expecting that it would have more to do with RVS. I don't know why.

Easy going? Well I haven't done a head count, but not an awful lot of people have been really posting yet.

I didn't understand why he thought that post in particular was pro-town. (I think if anything it's townish not pro-town. But eh, semantics.) Him saying, "You are town," without really explaining why piqued my interest. (and I'll admit, pipped my scumdar a bit.)

Alright, there's a lot of meta going on here. Let me add something to the mix.

Last time CMAR pulled something like he did in post 45 (very ambiguous, hinting at possible power roles?), he was scum (Sherlock Holmes mafia). Doesn't mean anything as far as this game goes.

I've never used meta as the basis of ANYTHING. I go into each game with a clean slate, and I offer this clean slate to every other player. I never "research" other players.

So, everyone just forget meta.

HI SORA!! Hi, jilynne. I miss the days when I'd play in a cluster of games. And HI other people who don't know me. You should cool it with the buddying, CMAR.
MOD: may the cops self investigate?
I don't have an RV on deck but I'm wondering why vezok hasn't claimed yet. :) hehehehe. I'll wait for CMAR to unvote so I don't look omgusy..... what???

Like jilynne, I prefer being deliberate with my vote, even in RVS. However, I think there is enough interaction to be confident in my vote.

VOTE: earworm

because I disapprove of unjustified bandwagoning in RVS. It's too easy for a scum to fly under the radar by casting a bandwagon vote on someone they know to not be scum and not have to come up with a convincing explanation.

This game certainly got started quickly. I skimmed the thread, nothing major jumps out, I'll try to get some reads later, but CMAR, who appointed you the man who decides who is town or not? Especially when you are making these judgements from very few posts. This isn't very scummy of you, just.. questionable.

I actually don't see anything wrong with CMAR, but being able to make judgements that quickly make me think one of two things: 1) he might be really good at this game or 2) he's a loudmouth who should stop making assumptions so quickly.

Really.

You want justified bandwagons in RVs? If I had a justification it wouldn't be a RV.

/theoryrant
I like bandwagons in RVs because occasionally they provide enough pressure and/or spark discussion in a way to end RVs. My vote is much better used on someone who already has a vote, then just lay it down on someone who doesn't have any, or worse keep it in my pocket.
