Are you saying that Fenix is just trying to draw a scumkill? Either way, claiming vig or even shooting someone on Day 1 is certainly foolish. But then again, if he shoots RBT, I wouldnt cry over the death of my biggest fan.

No it wasn't serious. The fact that IS was lurking is serious, but again just wanted to poke at IS. Lurking isn't enough of a reason for a lynch this early in the game especially.

I just want him Fenix to confirm it's authenticity. I've seen players make subtle comments as such to just to say later that they were just kidding. If it is real, I feel it's a pretty dumb move to make this early in the game and don't see what possessed him to make the announcement.

You are either trying to imitate HH from our last game or you are scum.

If you are one-shot vig don't use it yet, it's something we can discuss later in the game.

Meh, it's day 1, I don't have any history with any of the other players, much less a clue as to how many or what variety of bad guys are out there to catch. I've seen two weird things that bear investigation - the minor dogpile on Internet Stranger, and the claim of a vigkill. The IS debate seemed to have taken off without me, so I went the other direction.

Generally, I seem to be a lot better at working up the technical aspects of a game (vote count analysis, etc) than I am at catching the subtle social nuances that come with considerable experience. I'll warn now that I'll be most useful in a few days.

Beyond that, I'm happy to answer questions, and might fire out a few of my own...

As I have read the thread thus far, it seems to me:

-Nanook unvoted far too quickly once confronted. Why did you unvote so quickly? How did benefit your goal of "ruffling feathers"? Did it not release pressure from your target, thus invalidating your goal?
-Fenix: you will have to prove your vig-ness before the day is out because we cannot sit and puzzle about your claim. If you fail to do so, you should face a lynch in my opinion. You were prepared for this once you claimed, I suppose?
