I still think it's really funny that my first two investigations were mafia, thus convincing me that I must be insane. And it was actually inHim claiming something provable that clued me in to what was going on just in time! By the way, inHim, if pressed to it did you have a save, or was that whole cloth?

This is a great vintage of MeMe scum play, you don't get a bottle of that every day - it's like drinking Chateau Petrus 1989.

Apart from MeMe, the scum team collectively did great. inHim's claim was absolutely believable. And it was used very nicely when the mafia tried to lynch tss and pull out an instant win.

LML was impressive with his self confidence all the way to the end, in spite of being fingered by a cop. Why he had to pick Samadhi as his claim, I hesitate to guess. He could have picked anybody - anybody. Dourgrim. Macros. d8p. MeMe. Matchcam. Fletcher. DP (instant lynch, but funny)...

The climax of the game was arguably the Axelrod sacrifice, which was a true work of art. It baffled everyone, made it extremely difficult to believe that MeMe was scum, etc. Brilliant.

So now to the question: who thought of the sacrifice of Axelrod? Had you prepared the false clues for just such an occasion? Or did MeMe just jump on the opportunity?

However, the reason I claimed Samadhi-

The power roles were all people who were actually AT jeepfest. That REALLY messed with me, as I should have stuck with my original claim idea. (Casinopete)

The fact that I was Luna made it VERY difficult for me to associate myself with MeMe at all, unless, of course, we claimed a masonry.

However with a cop investigation (such as TSS) it would nail us both (as happened ANYWAY).

I tried a million and a half gambits. I still, Leo, find you to be one of the most amazing players. I look forward to endgames with you. Maybe once I won't be mafia

I was blessed to be on MeMe's team. I believe to to be a mutual respect we have for each other. It's pretty amazing

I had an idea for an even more elaborate gambit which the other mafia shot down. It may, in fact, not have been a good idea, but I might convince some other mafia to try it another game.

Could you please elaborate a little on the sentence in bold in the following quote - I'm not sure I understand (or want to understand) what you meant. Here it is...

Flavour: Wow. Cloggie does the States. It would have been great, except for the recent developments.... However, as chance would have it, you have something in your luggage that can help the town. The KLM stewardess that served you the cheese on your flight in should have known better. Then again, dropping the cheese into your hand luggage was also not a bright move. When you unpacked it,

you found it had gone all green and hairy. Which is great with French cheese, but not with Edam.

On the positive side, you can use this to give someone acute food poisoning and taking them out of the game..... too bad, there is only enough cheese to do this once.
Night actions: only one night of the game you can send me an IM with the name of one player you want to take out of the game.
Winning condition: you win when all the bad ones are out of the game and at least one good one is still around.

This is probably my favorite game I've done on this site. All the scum definitely had me going for a LONG time. It got to the point where I had to just stop reading Lee's and MeMe's posts if I was going to keep myself sane through that last day I was in.

This is the PM I sent to DP when I finally killed Mr Stoofer:

This is going to be either very good or very bad.

I don't remember why I wanted to kill all those different people; I just remember being suspicious of MeMe, Nanook, and tss throughout most of the game. I don't remember what I had against LML at that point. Mr Stoofer was another one of those players that I just had to stop reading his posts, otherwise I'd get cold feet about using my one shot on him. Does anyone else ever do that? For the sake of your sanity, you just assume someone is scum, and don't even listen to them before you lynch them? I think I might have been doing that with tss at some point.

Leonidas, you are a good townie to have around. I'm glad I didn't use my one shot to take you out for retaliation for PeaceCity.

Anyways, congrats to the town, WOOT! I shamelessly can admit that I had no idea of who the scum were in this game. I thought of Jeep, Mith, and Antrax early on in the game, but the players who had those roles weren't scummy enough for me to really believe that .. so in short, BAD MEME! BAD!

I must say that I was rather surprised that Axelrod was scum.

I was pretty confident is tss throughout the game, thus blocking MeMe from maniplating my mind in the end game with her bad cop theories.

Heh.. At your wedding party, the cheese dish included a cheese in the shape of a pyramid, covered with green hair. You should have seen Cadmiums face... I tasted it, and it was great.
