I think all this hating on Axelrod is not cool; it really seems he's just eager to talk about stuff, and he's been pretty consistent about it, even if you don't agree with it or think it's not useful.

Oh, and the thing about voting for Someone was supposed to be a joke. I figured I'd try to do a vote joke while it's still early, so
unvote: Someone
.

I'm happy pushing the bandwagon on Vesuvan to start.

Vesuvan's sudden appearance after being called out seems scummy to me too. Even though I agree with his theory about early speculation, it also strikes me as an attempt to divert attention from himself.

I will, as well,
Unvote: Axelrod
and
Vote: Vesuvan
.

I'm still very wary of Axelrod, however, due to posts prought up in the thread and overall scummy behaviour, I believe this vote is safe.

Reminder: My vote is #8 - This may be a stellar time for a claim.

Mod: Why is my vote still on PBuG?

If my vote for Vesuvan counts, as it should, the bandwagon is actually at
nine. Unvote: Vesuvan
so he can't be finished off before he can respond. Question for LML: What do you mean your Vesuvote is "safe"? Safe for whom against what?
I think it's pretty clear that TSS's awesomeness did alter the roles each of us recieved, and thus he's obviously pro-town. -- Save The Dragons

I guess safe was the wrong word. Safe, as in, he seems scummy (as I believe Axelrod also seems scummy)

My, my, this is interesting. You want to talk scummy? How about bandwagoning the
ninth
vote on someone, against whom the entire case consists of "he posted shortly after someone pointed out he hadn't posted yet."

And, at the same time he is bandwagoning, he is saying how scummy he thinks someone
else
is.

It occurs to me that an observant mafia could have noticed the error in the vote count, and by stating in his post that the vote was only "eight", when in fact it was nine, that could have possibly led to a mis-lynch by the town.

I'll wait until Vesuvan has a chance to respond before saying anything else, but that don't look good.

That's interesting. You were going by a vote count posted
after
your vote?

To be fair, Axelrod, that's not the
entire
case against Vesuvan. There's also the fact that at the time, he had voted for no one and no one had voted for him. Hardly conclusive, but the two together (though the not posting and not voting aren't exactly unconnected, as he obviously can't vote without a post) do make him stand out from the mass of people worth a raised eyebrow at least.

sorry i haven't posted in a few days... my mom was in the hospital, but she's ok now...
anywho, i don't understand why this whole bandwagon formed because someone posted right after it was made apparent that they hadn't said anything. suspicious as it is- i don't understand why vesuvian hasn't said anything since.
i kinda feel two ways about this situation... if someone doesn't post, then they shouldnt' play. but also, we're just going to lose good guys if we lynch everyone who abandons the game.
however, i really hate it when people dont' play. and since there appear to be 8 votes now, i'll
vote: vesuvian
and let someone else have to make the tough decision.
yeah, there are now 9 votes, but if someone just comes along and votes, i really doubt they're mafia. at least this early in the game, isnt' killing a random townie who most likely wont' pose a threat(since he's not posting) kind of pointless? or at least, it looks that way to me.

ok... i don't think that post made much sense, but meh. i felt that i should post so... yeah. if my post doesn't make sense, it's either because i'm confused or not explaining what i'm thinking very well. but my post makes sense to me right now, so... yeah... i need sleep. *shrug*

Speaker... you seem to be questioning me an awful lot. I have no problem answering you.

Since the earlier vote count (which said 5, if I remember correctly) stated the current count (according to DP), I then simple added the 2 more votes that were put on Vesuvan, as well as adding my own, making 8.

DP himself corroborated my statement. Until, as you said, you vote was missed. I apologize for not squarely looking at your voting. Truthfully.. that's the point of vote counts.

I hope that answers your question.

Whoa! Vesuvan's up to 9 votes over the course of a weekend!

I think I was one of the first say that Vesuvan looked suspicious but I'm worried about the speed at which he has accumulated votes -

(a) It does the town no good to have a day 1 lynch in just 3 pages

(b) The fact that he has accumulated votes so quickly suggests that the scum have jumped on his bandwagon.

Anyway, Vesuvan, you need to claim now.

And
unvote: the silent speaker
.

So Vesuvan has been anoited first to claim/get lynched

your 2 away Vesuvan, best to lay whatever you have to say out there, otherwise you won't be around much longer-

wasn't there just a discussion about incorrectly counting votes?
PeaceBringer, it might be wise to err on higher side... or something... when making statements about the number of votes 'till a lynch...

What a weird thing to say. MS is right...a fast lynch is bad for the town, so the person who "just comes along and votes," ending the day,
should
be viewed with suspicion.

And I agree with an
FOS: on Peacebringer
for "miscounting" when SaberKitty clearly called her vote the ninth.
