Newbie 03 - Game Over

Welcome to the small but prosperous town of Villageton. There may have been only eight of you, but boy, you seemed to get along well. That is, until Antrax was found littered with bullet holes one scary morning (let's call it "one"). Luckily, you find a slip of paper that reveals the secret identities of those in the town

Note: I've shamelessly stolen DP's roles, as they work very well for a seven person mini. As in his game, we are going to be starting with a day: it works better for the set up, and keeps any new players from dying before they even get a chance to play. I've killed Antrax off to get us in the right mood

The roles:

You are the mafia (2). You may only discuss with eachother during the game's "night", not during the "day". You let me know before the night's deadline who will be your victim. You win the game when all the other players are dead.

You are the cop (1). Every "night" before the deadline you send me an email with a name of your choice, and I will let you know whether that player is mafia or not. You are not allowed to communicate with any of the other players outside the thread. You win the game when the mafia are dead.

You are the doctor (1). Every "night" before the deadline you send me an email with a name of your choice, and that player cannot die if attacked by the mafia that night. You can not heal yourself. You are not allowed to communicate with any of the other players outside the thread. You win the game when the mafia are dead.

You are a townie (3). You are not allowed to communicate with any of the other players outside the thread. You win the game when the mafia are dead.

The rules (Also stolen from DP, please read them carefully):

Max, if you didn't vote for me because I'm suspicious but because the mod wrote the roles poorly, why don't you unvote me? I find that a bit suspicious, therefore:

Deadline set: Monday, December 15, 2003.

A big part of mafia games are deadlines. Once a deadline has expired, the day has ended, and the player with the most amount of votes will be lynched. If there are two players with the largest amount, then the player who gained that many votes

first

will be lynched.

This deadline has been put into effect to encourage talking. If that does happen, then it will most likely be retracted.
