GENERAL GAME RULES

(Borrowed and modified from StangerCoug's ruleset)
Remember to have fun and play to win, remember Wheaton's Law (that is, don't be a dick), and remember that the site's rules apply in this game, and in lines of communication related to it.

The below rules also apply, unless contradicted by your role PM:

• Votes must be in either bold tags or vote tags to count. Unvote tags are not required before voting someone else, but can help with clarity; unvote tags ARE, however, required to have your name moved to the "Not voting" line. A majority of votes is required to lynch, with no exceptions. You may also vote No Lynch; if the majority does so, day will end early without a lynch.
  
• Days last 14 real-life days, Nights last 3 real-life days. Extensions are possible but only in circumstances I think are necessary to have them.
  Prods go out after 48 hours of inactivity. If you do not respond to a prod within 24 hours or I have to prod you a third time, I will replace you.
  
• The mod's colors are

GAME-SPECIFIC RULES

• This is a Pick Your Poison game, which has 13 total players. 3 are Mafia-aligned and 10 are Town-aligned.
  
• Once the go-ahead is given, the alignments are randomized.
  
• You will receive a PM informing you of your alignment. If you are Mafia-aligned, you'll also receive the identities of your teammates and a link to a QuickTopic thread.
  
• Once the PM's go out, the Mafia will have 72 hours to determine three out of five roles to be given to Town-aligned players. The possible roles are Innocent Child, Tracker, 1-Shot Cop, Jailkeeper, and 2-Shot Vigilante. If the Mafia runs out of time, the roles will be selected randomly, without the Mafia knowing which ones have been picked.
  
• Once the roles to appear in the game are selected, each one will go to a random Town-aligned player, with no player gaining more than one role. Each Town-aligned player will either be informed of their role if they have one, or they will be informed that they remain a Vanilla Townie.
  
• The following is a list of possible pregame role PM's.

Mafia Hit

: One Mafia-aligned player per night may target one Town-aligned player. If successful, the Town-aligned player will die. The Mafia kill flavor will be indistinguishable from that of a potential vigilante kill.

Favors

: Once all alignment PM's are sent, you will be allowed to use the QuickTopic to discuss which three roles out of five will be used in this game. The roles are Innocent Child, Tracker, 1-Shot Cop, Jailkeeper, and 2-Shot Vigilante. You will, as a team, have 72 hours from the time the mod posts in the thread that all PM's were sent to determine which three roles to choose. If you fail to come to a decision, the roles will be picked randomly, and no Mafia member will be informed of the roles picked.
