Hey! My vote was stolen two days in row, that doesn't show up in the game stats!
Also, when and where did BB become a "Mason?"
I would not have thought that SV and BB were from the SAME scum group. I thought they were on different scum teams.
The amazing thing is that BB acted so bloody scummy that no one believed he was a Mason.
Laugh at me all you want, but my scumdar is pretty good. When I decide to sink my teeth into a player, I am usually right. And when a player decides to sink his teeth into me, he'll taste some delicious fruity goo.
Honestly, I think the town was overpowered, and it's a miracle we got that far!Squeezable icing, flaky pastry crust and sweet, gooey fillings are irresistible.

You wouldn't believe the anger, the frustration, that has come to me through this game. I had an absolute full-proof case on Fritzler (though the case was based on a faulty assumption, I'll admit that). There were no counterarguments. My damned scumbuddy was being asinine about it, just randomly shouting "Fritz can't be scum!" I was trying to catch scum more than the actual town was.
The way I died was simply unfair. Really, really unfair. I had the perfect claim, perfect everything. But you can't defend yourself while you're asleep.
And then I was forced to watch as everything went down the drain. BB practically got himself lynched with his no-claim-crap. God, he had an apparent town investigation from an apparent investigative role. He should really get a prize for managing to get lynched even with that.
And the Wizard role, sheesh. I was sure someone would catch on to the fact that a self-proclaimed Pirate just came up as Murderer, the same role as our little Reverend had. I was sure someone would notice that he should've come up as a Criminal Aligned Pirate (which was, to be honest, also what SV should've changed him into, and he really shouldn't have died, in my opinion). I gazed in horror as we got even better changes, like RoleChanger or AlignmentChanger, capitalization and all. I can't believe nobody actually took a look and noticed that such roles would be somewhat unnatural considering roles like Blackleg, Paladin, Coroner and Statistics Keeper. That really could've used a little more fantasy.
Imagine having my role and seeing your boss, the guy who you're tied to, self-voting Day One. Ghastly. Absolutely ghastly.
Gah. I'm off to get holes drilled in my head so all the fumes can get out.ShowFinished: 159 (120 Town, 33 Mafia, 5 Other, 1 Cult, 4 Cultivated)

As a side comment, I found TS's argument with BB about claims amusing given that TS and I had a similar argument about claims in Evolution. In both cases, the scum (BB here, TS in Evolution) was the one who defiantly refused to claim whene there was no reason to.I replaced into Chess Mafia for 6 months, and all I got was a win and this lousy sig.-

Looks like I was fairly accurate on my suspicions. Good job town on making it through, and sorry for taking your vote, Toaster Strudel. (Looks like you made good sue of it, though.)
For the record, Idath millers in any form. I was enjoying the game (though a bit confused about aspects of it) until I died and it looked like I was a bad guy.hate"When playing a game, the goal is to win, but it is the goal that is important, not the winning." -Reiner Knizia

I made good use of having my vote stolen? Haha. Well. You're on to me I guess. I could have participated, but I figured I had a good reason to stay out of the discussion, and avoid being nightkilled for my opinions. Besides, I had no idea who to believe.
This game was loaded with death millers, engineered by SV to suit the scum's purposes. Yes, it was confusing. But luckily for the town, BB was so overwhelmingly scummy, and his claim so at odds with the role that was revealed, that henceforth I knew the role reveals were not to be trusted. Also, dahen as a scum nightkill... that was too weird.
And don't you steal my vote again, Thesp! There will be consequences...Squeezable icing, flaky pastry crust and sweet, gooey fillings are irresistible.

The death millers in this game, believe it or not, were sub par compared to Pariah's other game. Essentially anybody voted by a particular player would show up as the opposite alignment in death, (I'm sure many of you have already heard) and not even that player was aware of this effect.
Also, it is common for Pariah to throw in one role that doesn't fit the game at all, such as Richard Nixon in this game.
I think the loss of a vote for two days was a bit of overkill. I wish I would've changed that before implementing it.AIM account: DolusDeceit [s]not al_kohaulec[/s]-

I couldn't get a read on you. I always think the best thing for a cop-type to do is investigate people who have the most indistinguishable alignment at the given time.Thok wrote:For what it's worth, STD was not a scum; as long as he was alive for a couple more days, he would have reverted to normal.
Out of curiousity Thesp, why did you steal from me the night I died?"When playing a game, the goal is to win, but it is the goal that is important, not the winning." -Reiner Knizia

That was my game! Pariah only co-modded and co-designed it. I was the one who came up with that particular role. >.>al_kohaulec wrote:The death millers in this game, believe it or not, were sub par compared to Pariah's other game. I knew that, but I also knew that noone knew I knew that, so I could use it against Fritz. Also, it is common for Pariah to throw in one role that doesn't fit the game at all, such as Richard Nixon in this game.ShowFinished: 159 (120 Town, 33 Mafia, 5 Other, 1 Cult, 4 Cultivated)
