I would, btw, be interested in a game like this again in the future, it was quite fun.

Hey, I only did what a non-idiot would have done.

Actually, the hardest part was thinking up a death knell. I'm still not satisfied ("WIFOM this" was awesome BTW)

Also, it would have taken incredibly skilled scum to pull off a win once they were taken down to one player. Convincing both remaining townies the other is scum is hard enough, but then backing out of dynamiting either requires a platinum tongue.

Yeah... I really couldn't set that up on the last day. I should have thought ahead more and been pitting you two against each other. I guess I was counting on one of you dynamiting BBM instead of me.

Yeesh, even when I'm useless I get nightkilled. :P

I guess I wasn't too far off with my townie picks at the point when I died, though I definitely picked wrong on the Yos/CES thing. Elvis was way under my radar at that point, so I've got no idea if I would have got it right at the end.

GG all, fun was had.

Mod notes
:

I don't think I modded this game to my usual standard, for which I can only apologise. it was due to pressures of work, although that is just an explanation not an excuse.

I should have found another replacement other than Quagmire; and I should have replaced Flameaxe rather than modkilling him. I regret both decisions. I don't think that it changed the outcome of the game but nevertheless if I had my time again I wouldn't have done that.

Apart from that, I hope you all enjoyed the game. When I proposed this setu p ages ago, people said I should put in 4 or 5 Scum. I think that the result of this game shows that that that would be silly and that 3 Scum is about balanced.

Actually, I don't think you should have done either, especally when he posted yet another "I'm still here" message. He was still posting, the town had let him get away with lurking all game, so it should have been the town's job to try to figure out his alignment based on his sparse posting.

I realized this problem as soon as I replaced in. I tried my best to shut out all "Quagmire I" information and focus only on what Quagmire II would think.

To be fair, I would have thought you were scum whether I played the entire game with the same guy or had just replaced in.

FWIW, I
really
dislike the "modkill for non-participation" approach, but I don't know how much trouble Stoofer was having finding replacements. It's still preferable to killing the game as a whole, in most cases...

I went back and looked at this game today. In some ways I practiculy guided a few of the explosions considering what I posted pretaining to kuribo and surye when they went boom and what i said over a course of two days that led up to Quag2 and CEScum's explosion. I didn't blatantly intentionally do all that, but now that i look back I do get the general impression that part of me wanted to survive to the end just as much as I wanted to blow up scum. So i guess I kinda got what I really wanted out of this game after all. Me living contributed to our victory a little bit so I'm fine by all that. I'm surprised this thread ain't locked yet and Peg was humble enough not to boast about how he was pretty darn close to knowing who all the scum were. later all.
