I meant if that didn't happen, someone could claim knuckles, and then someone else could say that knuckles is evil or bad in a way (SK?). Also, we have egg as mafia, and then metal sonic probably. Do you think that theres more than 2 Mafia?

Usually, there are more than two mafia (usually three). I haven't played that much Sonic, so can someone tell me if there's some kind of sidekick for Eggman, or is he solo?

Yeah I'm kind of lost as well...I have not played Sonic since the first 3 came out on Sega Genisis..And I really don't know any of the new roles, except Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, and the evil guy on the old games..Could someone explain this stuff to me?

how can you be so sure that egg is the mafia? Norinel could just have taken some other group to be mafia, and egg as a serial killer.

While that's true, we've already seen at least one role that was very appropriate to the character, and it's not unreasonable to assume we'll see more. All 4 teams have a grudge against Eggman, so it's probably not unreasonable to assume Eggman's the one we're looking for.

Sorry for the lack of posting guys. I was actually not gone this weekend, on Saturday night I was out having fun all day and night and didn't get a chance to go on the computer.

Sunday through today, I've been ill, with a high fever and a throbbing headache. Plus, I didn't know this game started. I'm feeling a lot better though, so don't worry, I'll be active.

Nobody has even brought up the idea of a Dr. Robotnik being the godfather, have they? The only Sonic games I've played have been 1-3, and Sonic Spinball, and Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (best game ever for Sega Genesis...buy it right now and play it.) and whaddaya know, all the games have one bad guy in common: Dr. Robotnik.

Or are we going to all this new-age fandangled gaming and using those four groups, probably? Perhaps Robotnik is a GF in there, minus one of the people in one of the supposed mafia groups.

Yeah I think Dr. Robotnik has a very good chance of being a scum, or even godfather..That is who I was trying to think of earlier...I havn't seen the Sonic Hero's show, or played the new games so I really don't know much about the new characters..I'm just going to have to go by what you guys say on this one..

Well, I do actually have a reason for trying to make it clear who's likely to be evil: I think it's pretty likely Rogue would be our cop, and if we think Team Dark is scum, that'd be a bit of a pain

Anyway, for those unfamiliar with some of the newer characters, you might check out this page from the official site (link, Flash required), as it contains summaries both of who everyone is and why they're going after Eggman/Robotnik.

And if anyone tries to tell me the Chaotix are new, I'll hit them over the head with a 32x.

I know there isn't a lot to say on day 1, but is just bandwagonning a random player the solution to that? What do you want to reach with it Fletcher? A roleclaim?

Yes, because usually there isn't much way we can get information this early in the game, because we don't want to have a cop or anything come out this early.
