Nah. Y'all are internet people and thus obviously creepy old men or serial killers or something. :P (I'm going to be blowing an exorbitant amount of money on plane tickets as it is this year, so I'll be pretty much broke well into 2010. I really hope no one wants to get hitched next year is all I'm saying.)

At this point, we're just waiting to see whether our trip to Tennessee is going to conflict with Flayming Man. If not, pretty sure we'll be there.

Excellent. If you (or anybody) need a ride from the airport, let me know and we'll see if we can save the ~$30 shuttle fare.

Looking like we're going to Tennessee late July, so unless something comes up we should be there. Put us both at 95%.

Just a little over a month to go. If some of the people with question marks/percentages in the first post can firm up whether or not they are coming, that that would most excellent.

We're planning on making floor space available for those who don't want hotels, and can probably even put up the tent in the back yard if you don't mind the dogs snuffling at your door at 7AM. Also, it's bloody hot here in July so sleeping outside is not for the faint of heart. I figure most people will be floor-crashing, when they sleep at all. :)

Foodwise, we've got a couple of excellent local restaurants we like to take people to (sushi, pub-style, and pizza in particular), and were otherwise planning on doing pizza and sandwich fixings, maybe ordering in. We haven't hosted a meetup for this many people before so let me know if you'd rather roll a different way... I'm not planning on any outings to Worlds of Fun (local amusement park) or other 'tourist traps' unless people pipe up!

The tiger for burning in effigy is already being planned. ;)

kristocker and I are definitely in. You might want to PM those who hadn't posted in this thread in a while, just to make sure they remember and are coming, too. :D

And mith, I'd be interested in trying both Rosenkonig and Acquire, if you've got the space for them. (I feel like I've missed out on something never having played Acquire - I don't know if I'll like it since I have some aversion to stock games, but I want to try it.)

Flay -- you or anyone willing to put up donations into the "help Quagmire pay for college and mafia trips" fund? KC is only like a 6-7 hour drive from Minneapolis and it's feasible that I could make it.

But not economically. At least without donations

Thesp: Sure.

Actually, I can't imagine space will be an issue, we may just bring everything regardless of whether we need to (I'm sure Settlers won't be necessary, for example). Maybe I'll do a little better at Acquire than I did in Mish Mash. :)

I should type up a request list, actually... I'm sure there are some games on the current combined birthday wishlist that neither of us have played and that someone might be able to bring.

Do this - I have several friends around here with a wealth of games, and many are happy to let me borrow them as requested.

I'd like to do this, but I'd need to pick people up along the way.

Are there people who need rides on the way from NY?

Aside from gas money, Shea, I'd probably be pretty useless--but I'm interested.

Request List:

Agricola
Battle Line
Carcassonne
Citadels
Empire Builder
Hive
Lord of the Rings: The Confrontation (I believe Flay has this?)
Mr. Jack
Race for the Galaxy
Stone Age

(Plenty of other games I'm interested in trying, of course; those are the ones I'm most interested in purchasing in the nearish future, though, since they're all playable with just/only 2.)
