Why do you care so much about the number of games that timeater is in?

Because I researched his profile and he's only playing in two at the moment. So:
a) he's an alt of someone.
b) he plays in another site.
c) he's lying and therefore he's scum that squirmed as soon as he realized the majority of people were voting for him.
In all the cases above his explanation of him not really vibing this game, even though he was asking to be the negative lynch of the day, makes me wonder about his play.
Now, nhat can you explain why did you post "Sad to see a scumbuddy leave?" What exactly made you think that? I really hope you were joking.

Seriously, I just wanted to know why you were all up in Timeater's business like that. I was joking about the scumbuddy comment to get a rise out of you. Also, do you honestly believe that he would drop out of the game because of the votes on him? I think it's a bit soon for that.

Agreeing here that Time became an even easier target when he asked to be replaced. Grimmy's reasoning in particular was horrendous. How long does he really think it will take to get a replacement? Do we really have to "wait" for his replacement at this stage? Aren't there other things to discuss? (Negative-self-vote is pretty skeezy too)

However, Timeater doesn't seem to react. He seems to be frozen, his mouth wide open as though he were saying something.

I will gladly switch my vote if and when a better choice appears. Right now, we do not have any stronger leads. right now im "meh" about it, so I have no reason to vote someone else or unvote at this point.

@Grimmy: After a certain point, votes on a wagon do not represent a "meh" stance, and L-2 is well past that point. Your vote screams "I would like to lynch Timeater" (as did the post in which you made the vote). When faced with a dearth of places to put your vote (if you're one of those people who really must have their vote somewhere), the response is not to compromise and rationalize; it's to scumhunt, and I'm not seeing a whole lot of that.

Two things:

1) I never said he wasn't scum, I said that wanting a replacement is not a scum tell. My reason for FoSing him was different

2) If I did vote him, I belive it would have been an L-1 vote. His actions do not deserve that right now, imo.

Nah, that's from way back, in 2005. It's a play on another user's icon (the homer aiming at pooky) Since you're so attentive to icons, you might know who that third guy is, i can't for the life of me remember.

Grimmy's vote for Timeater was actually the 6th, or L-1. His explanation was ridiculous ("Let's save the mod the trouble of finding a replacement). When called out for it, he first refuses to unvote (to be fair, it wasn't L-1 anymore at that point), but when pressured, unvotes and FoS'es two seemingly random people "for lurking".

What I don't understand is why everybody is leaning on these crap reasons when there were several legit reasons to drop a vote on Timeater (his completely unprovoked claim for one). Y'all know this wouldn't have happened if he had just sent a PM to the mod and we'd all seen a "Timeater has requested to be replaced" message and nothing else.

I'm just waiting for the next mod-post to see what becomes of all these FOSes.

His playstyle didn't seem town to freak like that when under fire and turn tail and run. If he is town he needs to grow his skin thicker. If he's scum he needs to learn how to throw off suspiscion without panicking. Rest assured if he becomes in danger I'll unvote. Still waiting for his replacement.
