One thing I am noticing from the games Ive watched and read so far is that the way I played in that game isn't well liked. Im going to try to post more and quicker rather than my big text walls this time.

I apologize, I didn't realize I was mentioning an ongoing game. I had just assumed the difference between saying

"X is generally quite and non-commital when they play scum" is a different form of Meta over

"In Game Y, you were playing bad."

I do understand the confusion there, and it was not my intent.

As per the actual question, I think its not so much as real vote as a reactionary test. You're testing the waters to see who cares, and why they do.

I dont think there's any reaction tests at the given moment. A lot of its just trying to find out what's going on right?

At the moment though, it feels like there's a whole lot of nothing being said so:

Apologies for being distant, I had something strange happen over the weekend and that's all I want to go over here.

As per the rest of the reads, it just really fels like a statement of activity over a statement of scumminess. However, I'm not inherently sure there's a big difference between the two in early game, since most statements are meant to be seeing who people bandwagon on, who can keep their head down, and who we don't bandwagon.

And yes, my vote on Syugar was very lazy. It was just at that point, I didn't really have any other thoughts. I inherently agree with Cats and Goldfish, esp on the fact that most people haven't been participating as much as they should be. Im aware that the entire thing is important, but I still can't actually get a read of anyone at the moment. Of all the people I'd think something is coming towards, or who they're acting, Bella im fairly sure is town and so is Catboi.

I guess, moving my vote on from someone who isn't even lurking on, I'm just going onto my null reads. VOTE: Cat.jpg While I dont think youre playing it safe, I feel like a lot of your posts are more akin to seeing what other people say over your own thoughts at the given moment.

I apologize, I haven't really been lurking. I just dont feel like I've anything _to_ contribute. It doesn't seem like there's much to state for any actual reason right now, and I don't relaly townsread anyone too hardly. Everything feels random, and I dont really know what's going on. There's no analysis, the games quiet, and most posts are discussions thereof.
The vast majority of posts are just 'people' should post more.

I need something to happen to talk about, and everyone is quiet since everyone is playing safe.

My issue is that making statements about calling people out or just discussing isn't inherently town. Scum tells tend to be informed knowledge, whereas Town is acting in interest of information. The issue is on Day 1, almost everyone is uninformed, and we're not better than throwing a dart at a board and seeing what sticks. Im interested in knowing if people will vote for T02, or back off. Ive nothing to go on but experimentation, after all.
