I think scum you might care about being accused of omgus, I don't think town you would and if you were starting to actually scum read me legitimately instead of just in a reactionary sense it made sense for you to vote me. But you didn't.

The more I reflect on Patch the more I wonder about them. I've already discussed most of my reasoning, but their defense of their vote also rubs me the wrong way somewhat. They say they're conflicted about Leek, which seems true, but when they voted they seemed content to have Leek eliminated, and acknowledged the possibility of a quickhammer. Surely they'd want to use a bit more caution on a vote they're apparently conflicted about?

honestly, i have no idea why players on this site use that as a metric for scum lol. this is literally just how i play, i comment on things as i read them, and if you dislike it, that sucks. take it or leave it. it's not like i read through the entire thread and THEN make responses that are intentionally done to echo other players... i don't have the patience for that. and also i have ADHD so i wouldn't be able to focus that long anyway

But not everything you post has to be a response to someone else. The point here is that nearly everything you're posting is echoing someone else or responding to someone's post. Where are your own conclusions based on the information you see?

The posts in question are 302 and 303. Maybe "clearly happy" is putting it a bit strongly, but my other post where I said you seemed "content" to have them eliminated is accurate. If you'd been strongly feeling that Leek was scum, then that would be one thing, or if your vote wouldn't bring them to E-1, then that would be one thing, but you said you were unsure on their slot and even specifically mentioned that you didn't want to bring them to E-1 because that risks a hammer, but then did so anyway not long after. I think there's a clear tonal difference between this and "oh whatever" in reference to risking a hammer, especially when this mindset shifts over less than two hours.

It seems strange to me that they'd bring someone to E-1 when they'd previously said they weren't sure how to read them and even specifically stated they didn't want to bring him to E-1.

Pressuring people helps you to sort their slot. By putting Leek at E-1 and gauging their reaction, I now know that while they are still null, they are more likely to be town than scum. You can use your vote in multiple ways, not just to eliminate.
Also, I stated I didn't want to bring him to E-1 because I didn't want a hammer, especially one day into the game.

See, now this is new. This is the first time you've mentioned that you're now leaning town on Leek, and your vote remains on them.

I'll ask again. What are your reads? What do you think about Leek, in more detail than a passing mention? Who seems like a better elimination today?

I have been fooled by in game fights before, but I'm thinking Shea and Black is probably TvT or SvT. I have been wondering if they're scum bussing each other because of the tonal shift in responses. I ultimately don't think so. I'm sure both of them are capable of putting on a good show if they are scumpair, but there's stuff in this fight, particularly Black's responses, that seem like she's really upset. Post 520, that being fake? That would be amazing.

Shea, I take issue with a couple of points in your black argument. I've read 3 Black completed games, two she was scum and one she was town. She was cool as a cucumber both times she was scum, didn't really take offense to people being aggressive towards her. I only saw her lose her cool in a game she was town- she got pretty annoyed that people weren't listening to her (I can find the links tomorrow if anyone likes). So I wouldn't have thought this was against her meta. The other thing is I feel like Black made a good point with Mew, and it was kind of a small point to have all of this blown up from it. I think you might be town regardless because you've mentioned a couple of times you were concerned Black was pocketing you, and I kind of thought the same early in the game, but if this is SvT I would sus you before Black.

Black I really only have one thing that that pinged me about you and it's that you didn't vote Shea after 520. I agree that he might have said you were OMGUSing, but you built a whole case, it would be a weak point if he did. That's where I'm struggling, I can't tell what you think Shea's alignment is and after 520 I don't know how you wouldn't think he was scum and vote him.
