Am I crazy to suggest that we lim Ranger for:

A. Yes there are definitely signs of her being scum

B. But piggy backing on that, this kills the noise, which also could be considered scummy. I don't remember her making like post after post after post like this before..... beginning to think it is intentional. At the very least it is becoming anti town and making it tough to follow the game.

Limming Ranger is great but not today. Don't lim probable scum with a ridiculous murky soft innocent over a highly likely guilty. There's always a chance of tunneling wrong.

I can't speak to GuiltyLion; I can say if you duo-iso myself and Dannflor and come to the conclusion that's scum-scum, you've a horrible methodology for identifying scumbuddies.

I believe if furtiveglance were town, scum would've been hard-pushing him. He's not a slot players think of as mislim bait, yet he's also easy to push when he's town. That he

The problem with your take is that it doesn’t take the context of the game into consideration. So the Scum have executed 4 Town, and their solution for D3 is to bus their buddy? They must be brain dead! That’s why despite being the two loudest pushers for dismissing the case of Snivy Town being GuiltyLion and Dannflor, guess what, no votes there. Not as much as a case.

Instead, why not push the Town that have been getting pressure the whole time! Hopefully we get away with that. And if Dann flips Scum (it’s still technically possible they flip 3P, so I have to continue to hedge here, though I think 3P claims and hard commits to side with Town if found out like this), you’re telling me one of three remaining Scum from your POV chooses to clear a Town that’s gotten enormous pressure? That doesn’t make a lick of sense.

I'm basically an ascetic PT cop. I've studied 100% both nights because I thought I was probably dying N1 or N2 based on the amount of town reads on me plus I didn't really think I was powerful enough for Group 3 and it takes 150 points for one shot anyway

so at least I don't have any points banked to burn. in retrospect I wish I had taken the chance to get a clear or something but that's where hubris gets me

In case it wasn't clear, this is a scumclaim in response to the guilty.

The actions don't track with the mindset and the role isn't a town one.

If you’re Scum and you’ve mis-executed Town D1 and D2, and you’re situated like Dannflor, you do NOT bus. You just don’t. Maybe if absolutely necessary, if enormous pressure builds on furtive and they’re your buddy. Maybe. Though from your perspective, you should know they could have pushed you harder and still saved furtive, and gotten Town in a terrible spot. Instead what, they come out to bus their buddy for what reason? To build cred? No need. We’ve been self-combusting the whole time. Like strategically this is just horribly flawed and annoying. You just wouldn’t bus unless sure, furtive looks like a done deal and you build a case.

Sure, I could be wrong. I’ve been wrong a lot here. So don’t trust everything I’m saying. But at least I want this discussed.

Did a lot of rereading, I do think GL is really scummy. I'm not sure what I was thinking at the time, but his case that BlueSnakelet lied doesn't make sense to me at all (maybe just hindsight). To be honest, it didn't really at the time, but I convinced myself that cCS was in anti-spew mode already.

At the time, I didn't mention anything, but GL mentions later that they would rather have a town!Dann instead of a town!Sail because they thought Dann was a stronger player, and that seems somewhat contradictory with the below quote, which seems to hold Sail at a higher standard (like the post is basically pointing out what GL thinks is a misplay or a slip)

this is starting to feel like a pretty good vote though. one other thought I had just now on 709 is that Sail seems to largely agree with me that Wheme is scummy/not worthy of a TR, yet never voted Wheme themselves and is using Wheme's scumminess as reason to vote Norwee instead. And then even when they unvote Norwee they still don't move onto Wheme, despite even making it clear that they don't necessarily agree with Norwee still. it gives me vibes that Sail doesn't actually have a genuine uninformed read on Wheme nor urgency to resolve his alignment
