Daylight arrives. Houseguests start arriving, minus one. TripMyWire notices a note on the door:

Sorry I couldn't come. I'm checking out a house I'm thinking about buying. I'll be over ASAP!

They all sigh in relief and start eating some appetizers laid out on the kitchen table. MeMe walks in through the door as Myopia heads upstairs to check the house out.

"Hi, guys! Sorry I'm la-" MeMe is cut short by a bloodcurdling scream. Myopia raced down the stairs and out the door.

Myopia, aka Otho, SK targeting the Deceased, has run away, never to be seen.

Suddenly, the lights go out. A very strange noise echoes throughout the room.
"Don't worry, I'll get it." shouts Dourgrim. The lights flash back on. Someone screams others gasp. BlueSin is now a sad splat on the ground.

BlueSin, aka Juno's Receptionist, has been smushed.

The houseguests quickly agree that they need to figure out who is responsible for this sudden tragedy. They deduct that it must have been an unnatural source, so they agree to read Myopia's paranoral books to find out how to exorsize a soul, which they decided to do once per day. They also agreed to vote on who to exorsize, majority winning.

It takes 6 votes to exorcize. all rules will always apply, whether you like it or not, ha.

M_L, I'm not getting you. I didn't understand your suggestion that BJ might be "split into two" and now your "went into random players" suggestion has got me similarly confused.

We have two people dead. One of them's an SK "targeting the deceased" -- this makes

think the most obvious possibility is that there's probably another SK "targeting the living" (Beetlejuice?)...or maybe they're two halves of an SK team working together (which might explain your "split in two" thought)...I'm not sure. If Otho was working alone, he was way too weak to have had a chance at winning the game since he could only go after "dead" characters.

So, looking at the information we've been given and checking it against the suggestions you've made causes me to think that you're ignoring the obvious and going for the convoluted...which further makes me conclude that you're trying to distract us.

I think I know what she means by the "split in two" thing about beetlejuice. Back in the background story thing in the very first post it says "Betelgeuse turns on them and hides in the body of two of the Dietz's houseguests." Meaning two seperate people acting as one beetlejuice.... I think...

I find it bothersome that Ml would vote MeMe based on something that is maybe an obvious mistake/overlooked/misread.
