i am currently deciding whether i should intentionally obfuscate my play style in the thread or if the anonymity will be enough

if this playerlist drew the players i'm expecting, they could probably figure out i'm scum if they catch on that i am me

but i'm excited for this game, we can do it, etc.

i'm toying with the idea of asking to be neighborized immediately upon entering the thread, as i would have town motivation to do that if i were town with my role. but i don't want to potentially spook a PT cop or to be put in a situation later on where it's obvious that i am the reason for the below:

when massclaim comes around, i'm considering claiming exactly what i am outside of my first spell card and the fact that i make neighborhoods undetectable. the fact that i receive spell card info upon entering neighborhoods might seem a little too powerful for town tho

so i'm interested in what y'all think on the above and lmk if there'd be anything sketchy about my planned claim

- if i somehow find myself in the neighborhood with Kaguya Houraisan is in that might also make it impossible for me to claim the part about receiving roles of those in my neighborhoods. maybe i could frame it as an active ability or pretend the passive selects a spell card at random in the neighborhood to give to me every night or something. or we could make up a spell card for Kaguya altogether.

- Reisen Udongein Inaba may want to claim undetectable by investigatives off the bat, but i'll leave that up to them. or they could also always claim to be targeted by someone else with their Ominous Clouds "Heian Dark Clouds" spellcard ability

- maybe i'll just try to play like try-hard town and hope that i get neighborized instead of outright claiming that i want to be neighborized

i'm probably already overthinking, this is why i don't join role madness games usually haha

i asked the mod to elaborate on "The neighborhoods you are in are undetectable, and cannot be influenced by any means." from my passive ability and he responded with the following:

"No members can be added or removed, and any modification can be done.
Undetectable means if there is a PT cop they won’t be able to detect it."

ok good to know, i have teed myself up to focus on you both when i return and that may end up turning into a Kaguya scum read depending on what the game state looks like around that time. i won't push anything that doesn't seem natural.

not to speak too soon but i think we are in a decent spot this game phase so far, so great job! there's enough bad blood being tossed around among town players and we have a few mis-elim options that don't seem charismatic enough to turn it around to save themselves, which is ideal

i think it's all about keeping activity up as much as possible and trying to continue to wedge our way into the town blocs people try to keep creating, the challenge this game for me is that a lot of the town players just LOOK town so it's hard to make genuine pushes on most of them
