I'm just going to sit here in this corner till some semblance (as remote as it may be) of sanity comes here...

Gimbo
:

This is a game. Yes.
Play to win. Not at all costs.

Multiple posts - annoying/distracting/don't help analysis.
If you have multiple thoughts (everyone does) - take a deep breath, hit post reply (not quick reply) and put it all down once.

People here do analyse every last word.
You don't have to like it. However...getting het up about it or posting more doesn't help. They'd just analyse more.

Swearing randomly or as if the word fuck is a regularly used noun/verb/adjective/adverb whatever - might be cool but is neither clever nor useful.

I liked your post about calming down.
Good idea. Do it.

Now. This post will look like the post of someone who has a stick up his ass.
I do have one.
However, you'll find out that what I say is useful...in the long run.

Like you said...don't make a nuisance of yourself and welcome on board :)

As hare-brained as Sweaty's scheme sounds...I'd go ahead with it.

Even with coin pooling and scum getting some coins, we could have some sort of fail-safes.

Have two people investigate one person.
The odds of both investigators being scum/stupid are minimal.

Have each person investigate a separate one.
Perhaps one or two will lie about their investigations.
They won't say who's guilty but put these investigations in concert with reactions and behaviour...we can give the benefit of doubt to some of the investigated people.
Plus, if we hit one or more innocents - it gives scum many moving targets and not enough shots...
I'd think the mod would've limited scum's multiple kill ability.

Also...we'd decide on who was to be investigated and by whom.

Did that make any amount of sense?

Very definitely OMGUS but couple that with that half claim - game breaking role...whatever.

I tried to ask once nicely.
Now I don't care for the language any more.
And I'm not above going "whining" to the mod.

See - having your eye on me doesn't make me uncomfortable. Your language does.

Your apology is appreciated but you're really blowing hot and cold here.

A) I was never trying to screw with you. Just pointing out how what you did was unnecessary.

B) Secondly, your claimed ability...wouldn't necessarily confirm anyone. Most games with Necromancers don't reveal alignment - that would really defeat the purpose. Imagine a dead cop revived with a doc protecting him for as long as he would be alive.

C) The way you were acting, there was no reason to panic and ask for the mushrooms - like Faerie said...no one would've killed you. You're too tantalising a day lynch target.

Now...as the situation stands...I think it's time for Devil's advocate, meta and WIFOM in good measure.

unvote: Gimbo ; vote: Cream 147

We don't need to lynch you.
If scum believe you, you will die tonight.
If you're not lying about ability, you ought to revive today's lynch victim - provided their alignment is revealed - before you die.
So that's 1 - 1 to scum
Given that you don't die at night, you should probably revive someone anyway. Either tonight or next night.

I don't think you're going to break the game by reviving some all important role.
As I see it...whatever mechanic might cause Peach to get kidnapped - most likely Bowser "looking for her" - ends the game in sudden death the next day if we don't know who kidnapped her.
This particular mechanic makes me a little skittish but for now, I'd trust Lawrence to know what he's doing...

Yes,...I was just going through that rule 16...
Makes me even iffier about the claim.

1) With most night actions going on sale...why would anyone be given one which is present and off the market
2) Could Magikoopa (for I assume it's someone like him) do revivals? Was he ever completely pro town?

Though yes....if the revive is available, then he ought to revive the lynchee when his alignment is known.

Mod:
If transactions fail because someone holds an item, is the item returned to the gifter? or dropped?

Might be interesting bargains a la Settlers of Catan here later...

e.g. Give me all your coins for a mushroom or something...

And we know for sure that Princess Peach is in the game, and she is pretty much guaranteed to be pro-town.
We do?
Sure she's not a mechanic?

Well done Gimbo and much better farside... *sigh*
I just hope that mushroom isn't dropped...mod seems to have gone off for the night...
There doesn't seem to be any indication of day use powers.

This is giving me a headache.
But forget it for now.

Where's cream gone off to?
Let's wagon him.

I doubt the farside Gimbo thing will work because both are already holding an item. Not sure one handed tossing works.

Surye might be best person (or another item less person) for something like this...
At most...it will help scum confirm the existence of 1UP mushroom.
Gimbo's probably dead tomorrow anyway.

In another news: potential 36h away period.

*yawn*. What have I done? I'm in no way concerned about getting lynched, as Gimbo will revive me, but seriously, what I have done wrong? And of course, once Gimbo revives me I'll be nightkilled quicker than you can say 'night-kill' so it may be preferable not to get lynched.
This kind of flippancy with the yawning really doesn't sit well with me...

I can see how you wouldn't want to get lynched Cream...but how does you not being lynched make you a mafia target?

As far as learning how to be better and claiming an air of scuminess around all your posts...
Well...
For one thing...stop doing the latter. Also, stop using it as a WIFOM excuse.
Secondly...when you can manage both...you're automatically better!
Then...practice!

He's saying if he gets lynched and revived he will be confirmed town, and will be killed, and he would be right.
I'm pretty sure that the scum would like to hit other, potentially more important roles even if he became "confirmed" townie...
We need to keep half a thought on the possibility that scum might actually know how coins get around...

My vote is where I need it to be.

I don't see the need to say anything much else right now, nor does it seem that I need to comment on any of the current happenings.

Therefore...I will be sitting here in my corner...watching...till I need to speak up.

I'd rather lynch scum today than 'take one for the town'.
Towards which end...you seem to be doing very little of substance...

Hahaha!
And what exactly is the townie PM?
Are you role fishing?

Are there even any specific non townies?
For all I know - there's the mafia, a bunch of toads who can buy powers and that's it.
Even Peach might be a mechanic from where I sit...

You are right clueless, you are.

What exactly have I said or.. rather... not said that's so evil and scumbaggy?

All the people wagonning me are clueless goons.

Especially the one (whoever it is -- i can't even bother to find out at this time -) who wants to policy lynch me just because they find me and my words annoying -- get help/training/whatever...

If your play is going to be based on how you react to people's words...you've got another thing coming....might as well give up playing now.

Policy lynching is usually a stupid thing. Doing it just because you don't like what you're hearing about yourself...especially more so...!

Given all the raving about me these last few pages, only one person seems to have caught on to what I'm saying (though they don't seem to approve) but I'm fine by that.
The rest of you are a bunch of clueless lunatics with torches, out on a witch hunt!

For what it's worth, I'll echo Gimbo's polite post to Cream and
