Sorry about the spamming, but now that I think about it.
He has no real explanation for either his vote or night action.-

Sure I do. In my experience, one-shot vigs die really early, and you disagree. Fonz disagrees too, and that's not precisely making me feel good about him either, but you stand out.I will not assume everyone with blue eyes has Mako poisoning

seriously, the CONFIRMED TOWN disagrees with you, and that makes you suspicious of him rather than thinking you might be wrong?-

Gorrad, everybody disagrees with you, because you're wrong.Gorrad wrote:Sure I do. In my experience, one-shot vigs die really early, and you disagree. Fonz disagrees too, and that's not precisely making me feel good about him either, but you stand out.
I've sort of avoided discussing my predecessor's actions so far, because they were pretty dumb in places, especially this post. Apart from that, he didn't really contribute much of note. So basically, if I'd replaced someone else, I could make the same case against JTP as I originally made against anderson. But I like to think that my actions D2 have made up for JTP's D1 more than anderson's actions D2 have made up for his D1.dahill1 wrote:ok trying to get some discussion going. username i'm not sure if you already answered this but what do you think of your predecessor's behavior (JamesthePhox) at the end of day 1?
anderson has been improving lately now that he's being pressed, but I think the fact that we had to wait for that to get anything out of him, combined with his going for the easy target still makes him a good lynch candidate.
I agree with The Fonz on why the first point is not a good reason for finding him scummy, because Gorrad's claimed night action only makes sense if he honestly believes it was a good choice as town, which makes it a null tell. His latest "I definitely would have done this as scum" WIFOM does give me pause, though.andersonw wrote:But still, the main reason for me thinking Gorrad is scum because of his night choice, and now he's bringing in more WIFOM about his choice.Elapsam semel occasionem non ipse potest Iuppiter reprehendere-

He lurked through the whole of D1, and made a post towards the end of the day expressing support for the SSK wagon, when it was pretty clear that that lynch was going to go through which looks a lot like distancing to me. He hasn't done any scumhunting without being specifically prompted to do so, and he's going after Gorrad today in a way that feels like he's just picking the easy target.Lawrencelot wrote:I think I'm losing track of this game. Summary of cases:
Gorrad: Protected a vig over a doc or cop. Thinks he made the right move.
andersonw: "He lurked through the whole of D1, and made a post towards the end of the day expressing support for the SSK wagon, when it was pretty clear that that lynch was going to go through which looks a lot like distancing to me. He hasn't done any scumhunting without being specifically prompted to do so, and he's going after Gorrad today in a way that feels like he's just picking the easy target."
AK: D1 - seems more concerned about personal survival than the good of the town. ...that's all I can think of. Care to fill me in Gorad?
@ everyone: Am I missing anything?Well if you're so sure what it ain't, how about tellin' us what it am!-

ok, i'm satisfied with the response from username, which was admitting to the scummy things JtP did instead of trying to defend them. i'm starting to see how AK is less scummy now. i think he's still somewhat anti-town, but not necessarily scum. between the cases of gorrad and andersonw, gorrad's could be either protecting a scumbuddy or just his own personal opinion. IMO, anderson's is the better case as his actions were linked to (or should i say avoiding) the SSK wagon until the very end when he was sure to be lynched.

I like IAAU's post too, that's a solid case.Unvote, Vote: andersonw, L-1. Unless Fonz cares to respond to 440-441, I'll be vigging AK tonight.I will not assume everyone with blue eyes has Mako poisoning

Really, I'm mostly just being stubborn. Not exactly the best play on my part, but I just plain old don't like his going against my nightchoice like he is. I stand by my decision.I will not assume everyone with blue eyes has Mako poisoning

I already explained before why I didn't vote for SSK, and I really did think he was scummy, as was also explained before.dahill1 wrote:between the cases of gorrad and andersonw, gorrad's could be either protecting a scumbuddy or just his own personal opinion. And also, it could be Gorrad claiming to use his doc ability so he won't be pressured by the town to use it again.
@iamausername: could you respond to post 407?
And now, Gorrad's last few posts seem very scummy to me, especially saying that he will use his 1-shot vig ability and even admitting that it is "Not exactly the best play on my part". If AK is town, then it could easily lead to a town loss, considering that there could be 2 more kills tonight.-

Sure. My suspicion was raised in the first place because of SSK's opportunistic AK wagon-hopping. Scum don't tend to opportunistically jump on one another. Also note SSK's desperate attempts late in the day to divert attention to, yes, AK.Lawrencelot wrote:
Could you elaborate on this? The Fonz wrote: I don't believe AK is scum, because of what happened with SSK yesterday.

What about these two parts? I know that The Fonz has already responded to the first part and has shown that it is not that strong, but could you respond to them anyways?andersonw wrote: Well, the fact is, I was prodded, and I had to post. There's nothing I can do right now to change it. And my "excuse" for not posting content wasn't I was prodded, but was "I didn't have anything new to discuss because I couldn't really see anything very interesting, and I'm not very good at thinking or bringing topics up. "
For your question, I think Gorrad is pretty suspicious, especially since he protected a 1-shot vig over a tracker or a doctor, and if he was SK, he could just to have claimed to use it since it would be useless to him, and no one could ask him to protect someone later in the game. The above also goes if he is mafia, just not as strongly. I'll have to think about this.-

Your second point makes sense, actually, but the odd protection choice still only really makes sense if Gorrad thought it was a reasonable sounding protection choice.
I don't want this game to peter out, and will be hammering by the end of the weekend in the absence of any major revelations in that time. Anyone got anything important to say, hop to it.
