Flayming Man already won the thread.

And, I would definitely be interested, though whether or not I could come would depend on where I'm working, whether I have vacation time, etc. I know (mid-to-late) June would be better, just on the "Michelle will be out of school" basis.

Voted middle option. May is less likely (school for Michelle), and while neither of us normally have plans on the 4th that might be different next year.

I'm somewhere above 50% for this, I think. Most likely thing to stand in the way is if I am just starting a job and don't have vacation time. I don't think Michelle will have anything conflicting, so she'll probably come if I do.

At this point, we're just waiting to see whether our trip to Tennessee is going to conflict with Flayming Man. If not, pretty sure we'll be there.

Looking like we're going to Tennessee late July, so unless something comes up we should be there. Put us both at 95%.

Thesp: Sure.

Actually, I can't imagine space will be an issue, we may just bring everything regardless of whether we need to (I'm sure Settlers won't be necessary, for example). Maybe I'll do a little better at Acquire than I did in Mish Mash. :)

I should type up a request list, actually... I'm sure there are some games on the current combined birthday wishlist that neither of us have played and that someone might be able to bring.

Request List:

Agricola
Battle Line
Carcassonne
Citadels
Empire Builder
Hive
Lord of the Rings: The Confrontation (I believe Flay has this?)
Mr. Jack
Race for the Galaxy
Stone Age

(Plenty of other games I'm interested in trying, of course; those are the ones I'm most interested in purchasing in the nearish future, though, since they're all playable with just/only 2.)

I expect that *I* will enjoy Le Havre more than Agricola, playing with you guys. I expect Agricola would go over better (at least initially) with Michelle (and her gaming group in Denton).

But that's just based one what I've read about them both, and there's no substitute for actually playing them!

I can bring Thurn and Taxis.

(I'll check with Michelle in the next few days, see how her schedule is looking and all that, see if I can bump us up to 100%.)

Michelle's back at 50% or so... we're having a hard time getting anything solid from her dad about when he's going to want to work on things. (I'm still planning on coming either way, though I'm not overly enthusiastic about driving the car that stranded me in New Orleans again...)

Can't say I'm particularly interested in paying to spend several hours at a baseball game, rather than getting in some more Mafia/other games.

I got bored of messing with the song tournament, so I decided I'd try to compile the request/can-bring lists... pretty messy at the moment, but Thesp can clean it up since he's the one with all the games. ;)

It'd be nice to have some of the better fillers available as well (For Sale, Diamant/whatever it's called now, the other one that keeps changing names...).

MoS List:

As much as I love Diplomacy, I don't think I'd want to take 4+ hours out of our limited time to play it. (Same for Twilight Imperium.)

Coloretto would be a good light game to have (and I've never played it, just observed in Mish Mash).

I enjoyed Cranium Hoopla (and I'm sure Michelle would enjoy it as well).

I'd be up for a game of Illuminati as well. Haven't played it in... 7 years or so, heh.

Category 5/Slide 5 is the "other one", apparently. Slide 5 is a stupid name, btw. :)

I think if I stayed up all weekend and then slept in the car on the way back, Michelle would probably kick me out and leave me in Oklahoma somewhere.

(But I'll probably stay up the first night, sure.)

Anyway, we need to think of something
else
ridiculous to do.

Oh, also, I was going to ask: I believe you mentioned a dog/multiple dogs, Flay? You don't have any cats, do you? (I am quite allergic, though I can bring a mask and pop allergy pills all weekend if necessary. Which is probably worth doing anyway, so that pj at some point use a mask tell to try to get me lynched.)

You'll be happy to know, Slay, that Oklahoma is no longer my second most hated state. It's now third, behind Arkansas and Kasnas.

(Just so we're clear on how much I like spending time with you guys. I wouldn't drive through Oklahoma and Kansas for just anyone. :P)

Note to self: Trying to play two games at once is a bad idea when you aren't all that familiar with one of the games.

Flayming Man is officially on Michelle's calendar. She said you will all now discover the truth of how crazy mith's girlfriend is.

(pj: I'd be up for some Magic, and could bring some cards as well - though the decks that are currently built probably suck and I doubt I'll have time to go through them and build anything better, plus my cards are old and might have rules issues.)

We're back as well... Michelle and I got in some more gaming last night with MeMe, Dirge, Yoko, and Atticus (thanks again guys!)... Dominion and Pandemic are now firmly on the "buy as soon as able" list. I didn't think I was going to be able to do all the driving today, but I managed (and without caffeine).

And now I'm about to crash. Hard.

Repeating what has already been said but needs to be said more: Thanks Flay/Orbiting/Via!

(I *think* I've got all the Mafia games recorded... I'll get a report up tomorrow sometime, and others can fill in the gaps.)

Flayming Man picture directory is up at http://www.mafiascum.net/flaymingman/

Just sent Flay the password, if anyone else has pictures let me know and I'll send it to you. At some point I'll go through and put together a little album with commentary on the index page, otherwise you can use the img tags on the forum to show your images.
