This sounds like she knows that attempts have been made on farside's life and that farside was not killed(protected). Who would know that attempts have been made on farside's life? A doc WOULD NOT KNOW. A doc only knows that they are protecting someone...not that they are actually saving someone. This statement looks like it is inside knowledge....

It is designed to do EXACTLY what it is doing - forcing a lot of argumentative discussion about what that half claim could be.

I'm torn between the temptation of claiming or letting CKD self-combust in anticipation.

First off, I'm going to die anyway, probably not lynched, but for sure nightkilled. So excuse me for milking it for all it's worth on my last round in this interminable game. I have to say I'm hugely proud of myself for having walked that fine line between acting scummy to not draw the NK, and not getting myself lynched straight away. I knew I couldn't pull it off forever, and all good things do come to an end, my time would come, but I'm awarding myself a medal for this game. I hear the Canadian anthem as I climb on the podium, yay!

We're really outscummed here except we're lucky that we have masons so we have a good chance of winning it. Please indulge me and let me have my fun, and I promise I'll claim tomorrow morning, after CKD catches fire.
