osuka "sounding like a dick" is not what's behind my feeling here
I just didn't buy that osuka actually believed what he was saying, and that mismatch between confidence and the thoughts being sent reminded me of what I scumread about Baltar in that game (who was indeed scum!). Baltar was confidently pushing his ideas but I didn't believe he actually believed in these things.
Still a bit murky on osuka but the clarification on the whole towwl thing helped on that front
