I'll say I'm disinclined to effort into a townread which is at zero risk of being the elimination, although I know you're asking because you want to see my thought process more than to know why hellbooks would be town.

The basic explanation is I don't see a shred of scum in hellbooks' posting. I admit unfamiliarity with hellbooks as a player, yet her vibes have been consistently good. I've laughed at hellbooks' posts, and liked her contributions. She feels like she's not trying to be townread and is casually efforting. Consistently, she's been the slot to most provide the aura of not forcing anything and just existing.

if fypov as town you are being wagoned by town and scum are offwagon bussing, then if town switches then scum lim can go through

Both scum bussing is actively counterproductive since they have to flip one of themselves at some point in this game and flipping someone who bussed just makes it blatantly obvious that scum bussed, therefore you're looking at at most one on wagon rn which is not enough for a scum lim to go through given that we townread both Black and Dann and both want us dead (statistically there's also a third townie that wants us dead rn which makes a bussee + non-busser + 3 town vote go through on Python here)

Perhaps you've lost sight of the context for that.

I had replaced in. I saw usesPython was at e-1, and believed there to be 11 hours left on the deadline clock. I saw the names on the wagon included you and Black. It also included fireisredsir and Political Clout. As far as names who if they're town are respectable scumhunters, it's hard to do better than that. Without having read anything, the decision was "do I blind hammer and sheep the names there and trust they caught usesPython who failed to evolve their scumplay, or do I read". I opted for the latter, from which I gained a fluctuating but still existing townread.

i still think python is towny
even though i do agree that theyre playing survivalistically and saying a lot of things about setup and wagon theory and game state that i either dont agree with or understand
it feels like both you and fire are taking it as a given that thats a bad thing and worthy of primary focus / debunking (maybe it is, esp. the latter) which i dont agree with although i do think that is also seeming to be your styles
but its like idk it kind of seemed like python playing survivalistically is like me running up against that thing again where PC was like "well yea. so what if i am" and me being like well yea i guess youre allowed to

although now that i think about it. i do think it is somewhat concerning that theyre kind of not really commiting to finding strong reads and just kind of just gestured at this amorphous disclaimed lim pool and then saying that they havent had the capacity to revisit it because theyve been too busy battling all the haters. which i guess yea fair. but esp given that they obviously take stock in the idea of "anti-spew" when it comes to scum wagons. and like even when they are saying who they want to lim its kind of like stated as "well who is limmable who is not me" which seems like further muddying the information equity of reads
