I've been wondering - Your case on pac is mainly that he's active lurky and 'epically useless'(no scumhunting, etc), right? (if you feel this is an oversimplification, feel free to tell me the rest)

1. There are a number of other players who'd fit this bill. (e.g. Double A) So - why pacman in particular?
2. Am I to take it that you'd expect God to play this way?

I ask because while I feel pacman would fit a general scum profile, I wouldn't be as convinced as you are based on what we have now.

I've read up and honestly, nothing new has happened. qwints is still non-posting scum, I'm, say, fifty percent on him being god to boot. He's much more lurkish than Pacman is, and add to that the slight difference in meta--qwints is usually more useful than this. Which is why I don't understand the focus on the latter instead of the former.

DGB is probcult if qwints is god.

Double A is still posting nothing relevant, and I get the feeling he's purposely playing the unknowing newbie. If he's honestly lost in confusion, I urge him to get himself replaced ASAP because this is not the kind of game you should learn mafia with.

I don't understand what Jebus is asking, and I'm not letting Pacman off the hook. Not by a long shot.

Well, what makes him god of all things? I agree with ortolan; feel free to read up on his posts in other games, he's generally useless.

Does he usually post more often or have bigger posts? I haven't liked his lurking, it looks like a recruit who isn't looking for other scum at the very least. But he could be god in the same way pacman could be god and its hard to tell if they just don't aren't playing to an agnostic win condition and why not.

It's just that I played my first game on Total War Center, and only Askthepizzaguy's posts are really long. You guys seem to quote a lot. I'd love to be more active, but this game just feels to big... The mafia I played in had about 15 pages for the entire game.

So basically I'm bored.

Also, the reason I'm not mafia-ing on TWC is the server is down. Again.

Ea, DGB has been pushing the Pacman case for a while now, which I find consistent enough to not be scummy. I have no read on quints. And I never said that Jebus has a context scumtell. mm... I'm not pretending to be confused: I AM INDEED confused. There are liitle things you can find as "god tells" (and mostly if you are a phailed scumhunter *glares at myself*), because god is NOT an usual role. The nearest thing God looks to be would be a SK... but...

I did say you are adding no content? you WERE not adding content. That post I quoted DO have content.
And, nice try guy. If I knew how to hunt for a SK in a game where the "SK" is not exactly a SK (as the Cult Leaders will deffend him), that would be easier, thank you.

yay! i've finally caught up. sorry it took so long(most of you with your enormously long posts...grrr) There's SOO much here. I'm going to do this piece by piece, so please bear with me.
okay there was something i noticed while i was reading through that i had a question on and that no one said much of anything about.

bolded for emphasis. What exactly are you saying there? Were you not voting her because you think she's an awesome player? Or were you saying something else there?
That probably isn't anything at all but it kinda stood out to me. Then again, i was reading that around midnight so that could have some bearing on my perception of it.
Honestly though, i really don't have any idea of which way to be looking. So if there's something that you want another opinion on, by all means please point it out.

Really? Two seedy players defended zakeri and so zakeri's God? And DGB defending zakeri after 'being much scummier' also makes zakeri god? That's not particularly convincing. Tell me why the zakeri case is better than the other cases currently in the limelight.

The other cases only seem to look at the role of God and not the bigger picture. If, let's say, Jebus is God, who's in the cults? There would be somewhere between three to six players who lose if Jebus dies. And yet with Jebus being a frequent wagon this game, nobody seems concerned that he's going to die.

Erratus, I have nothing against you, but why do you feel that having two people who protected me makes me God? Does this mean you suspect both of those people being Cult Leaders? For that matter, do you think two out of three cult leaders would go so far as to link themselves to God like that?

Not necessarily leaders, they could be recruits as well. And yes I do think they would link themselves to God because, if God is on his way to being lynched, what other choice do they have? They can't just let God die.

A lurker in plain sight. His recent post (few days ago?) said that he'd follow up with a post of his thoughts on his suspicions with a set deadline (yet to come through on it). His posts have him pointing towards 'Jebus and zwet probable scum'.

My thoughts of his alignment in this game have me leaning towards him being a probable scum candidate. Since he is lurking in plain sight, I will put some pressure on him to follow up with his most recent post on why he thinks that Jebus knows who God is, and why he suspects that zwet is scum.
