I've played a fair few games with him and he feels like town-Yos enough that I'm willing to give him the double vote, since I generally trust his instincts. It doesn't hurt that he's not stupidly opposed to an Xtoxm lynch like some peeople. I just don'ty see the agrument for not lynching him. He's made a vague claim and refuses tio give more information, he's not playing the game at all and he's generally entirely useless to us alive. At least dead, we get his role info, which will help our understanding of the set-up.

An unlynchable townie is a HUGE liability for the scum the later they get into the game. As of now, as no one has claimed mega-super-lighting-babe unlimited daykill vig, their best bet is to kill Xt. If he's town I don't expect him alive tomorrow.

We don't know if there's a vig in the game. If there isn't, Xtoxm doesn't die at night, no matter whether he's town or not. Why would scum kill him now when his mere existence is a distraction they can manipulate?

Xtoxm won't help us in any way. He won't full claim. He won't play the game. He'll just be siiting there being entirely useless and hurting the town until he dies. Therefore, we lynch him now to test his claim, since it's about the most useful thing that can be done with him.

I have no idea how dangerous a scum mayor is. I haven't played this kind of game before. Antything that gives scum a double vote does not, however, sound like a good thing on principal. As for being "absolutely sure"... well, you can't be, and I've softened on that due to the logical poiints made by people in the discussion of the theory of it. Hence, I have a vote on Yos now.

I think that your opposition to choosing someone we consider scummy as mayor is entirely logical. In particular, I agree with everything you said in this post:

1)If the scummy mayor is in fact a town player, the scum only need to wait for a couple of mislynches to be able to manipulate the town into lynching the mayor.

Xtoxm is only asking to be replaced because he;s about toi be lynched and his plan to play a gambit for his own amusement and to ruin the game has been foiled. @Gorrad- stop thinking in terms of "we lynch anti-town" and start thinking in terms of "we don't give anti-town roles what they want." Under normal circumstances, the former would be correct, but when you have an anti-town role that wants something *other/more* than survival, you make sure they do not get what they want. If the town has a vig, letting him/her kill millar is an *awesome* way for him to let his presence be known and later confirmed without risking a townie. Under normal circumstances, said vig would have to claim and then we have to leave him/her alive for another night so they can prove themselves. If we let the vig kill millar we have the win-win situation of not giving him a win and getting a vig confirm later. The only negative is if we have a Serial Killer who makes the kill and then claims vig later, in which case, we need to pray we *do* have a vig who will either already be dead (meaning the SK is toast) or can counter claim (meaning the SK is toast). Please note the SK scenario is pure conjecture, but just used to illustrate a benefit of having millar night killed instead of lynched.

You've already started the inevitable discussion and argument that'll happen if we let him go 'till night. Lynching him does not harm us at all. This makes no sense. We need the Executioner to be someone who is involved and up to date with the game in order that scum do not take advantage of any delay in getting information. I think Yos is the best option other than myself.

NabakovNabakov makes a good point. The same four people were dancing on both nights 3 and 4. So, unless NabakovNabakov is the Piper (since he was the other person dancing on night one), it's someone who submitted no action last night, or was blocked, which I don't believe is a possibility (though I could be wrong). Battle Mage seems scummy enough thqat he's as good a pick as any.

I don't have BM dancing, but then, I think the mod change has made a complete mess of the whole dancing thing - I only have myself, NabakovNabakov and Rockatansky dancing last night, yet the night before The Replacement was dancing as well, and he's not dead.

Does anyone have access to the original game? If age and gender had something to do with picking the roles, maybe there's a way we could work it out? I can't find anything on Google that suggests age dictated role in the original game, though.

Jahudo's age stands out, but I can't remember considering Jahudo to be acting scummy.

I'm guessing it's something to do with the random events - remember night one, when we lost the females for a day? I'm betting one or more of them is based on age.

A review of Gorrad's posts seems to correlate with what Yos said. He seems to have drifted in and out of the game, whilst never reallty posting long or original posts. He's been quick to latch onto wagons and hasn't tended to make original points when voting or explaining voting. He's joined easy wagons, while boosting his post count by squabbling with Zwet over his playstyle to appear to be creating content. He also tried to push for BM for mayor on day one, which isn't exactly in his favor, either. There's certainly a case to answer against him, I think. Hmm. Unless there's a better case to be made against another one of the active players on Yos' list of suspects, I think he's the play for today.
