Just ate a breakfast of champions (frosted mini wheats and what I swear must have been a "blood" plum), and now we're ready to rescue Pooks from the clutches of the airport; huzzuh!

I'm semi-conscious after 4 hours of sleep - some games I've gotten to be a part of include modding a game of mafia where mith was lynched D1 as a mason (!), some Race for the Galaxy, Small World, Ghost Stories, and Battlestar Galactica. We're having an awesome time!

I just drew the first nightkill in a twelve player game after helping lynch some scum. Played some Small World this morning (stupid sorcerors!), and Arkham Horror is on tap next.

Pooky and I are still without sleep. I guess I need to sleep tonight or Michelle will stab me with knives. Very close game of Puerto Rico just finished.

Starting to wind down, finally. Everyone was asleep at the same time for an hour or so.

Tiger burning was a success, eventually (who knew papier-mâché was so non-flammable?). Pictures of our efforts and the results soon, once we're actually done.

Posting this from on the road on Kristen's Treo - we left 90 minutes ago for the trek home. We had an absolute blast! Flay was a gracious host, and we played a great many games. It was good to meet and see everyone. I do pity Kristen for all the driving she's going to have to do, as I'm going to need to catch up on a lot of sleep. :)

Duckie - yes, you deserve to feel jealous. You suck. ;)

Many thanks to Flay - indeed a gracious host and very patient and helpful with all the havoc we wreaked around his house. Thanks also to orbiting for lovely food yesterday night!

I also want to thank Thesp and kristocker for being our guides to new games. I also blame you for driving me into penury, now that I'm going to have to get more board games...

I had a brilliant time, actually assigning personalities to names and faces and I hope I'll be able to go to another one next summer. (hint hint to whomever)
Call this sappy but I felt a very good connection with everyone fairly soon after I arrived and now, soon after I've left - I already miss everyone :(

You're all superstars! :D

Thanks to everybody who showed up to play - you are all lovely humans and pleasant and entertaining guests. You're welcome to come sleep on my floor anytime. :)

Good times, good times...missing everyone!

Thanks so much Orbiting, Flay, and Via for giving your home over to temporary chaos -- upside is that your home probably feels inCREDibly spacious post-meet. :)

Back home after sleeping on one final floor at the Denver airport!

Super-big THANK YOU to Flay, Orbiting, and Via for letting us all share their home, time, and delicious foodstuffs! As always, it was simply awesome getting to meet (or remeet) all of you! I hope to see all of you again. :D

And now I can mark "eating buffalo" off my list of things to do...

We're back as well... Michelle and I got in some more gaming last night with MeMe, Dirge, Yoko, and Atticus (thanks again guys!)... Dominion and Pandemic are now firmly on the "buy as soon as able" list. I didn't think I was going to be able to do all the driving today, but I managed (and without caffeine).

And now I'm about to crash. Hard.

Repeating what has already been said but needs to be said more: Thanks Flay/Orbiting/Via!

(I *think* I've got all the Mafia games recorded... I'll get a report up tomorrow sometime, and others can fill in the gaps.)

Oh, I'm also going to set up an FTP account for picture uploads... if you have pictures you want to upload, let me know, and I'll send details along when I do that.

Me!

It was a pleasure to host everybody, even if it was mostly on the floors (for those who slept at all), and you guys were NO trouble at all. My only regret is that we massively overbought for food (forgetting that gamers generally prefer to snack rather than sit-down-and-eat), so we're having tacos and eggs for the next week.

Flayming Man picture directory is up at http://www.mafiascum.net/flaymingman/

Just sent Flay the password, if anyone else has pictures let me know and I'll send it to you. At some point I'll go through and put together a little album with commentary on the index page, otherwise you can use the img tags on the forum to show your images.

Oh, and Glork gets 10 bum points for being in Kansas City at the same time as Flayming Man, and yet not actually attending or even stopping by to say hi. :(

There is a distinct lack of pictures in that picture directory.
