Yes, a simple mistake made by scum in this setup.

I am voting for ekiM

The current votecount is correct

In the last 5P Vengeful game I played there wasn't a problem with the random voting stage despite putting two players at L-1 on the first page.

Is there a game you can link to support this?

I've never played vengefuls on this site before (or anywhere.) I was fully aware of the setup before and devised a strategy.

So...

Once you do it once, you don't have to do it again.

Dear Players:

If there are any questions about my voting policy about how and when I count votes, please ask them. I tried be as clear as possible in the rules, so if there's any ambiguity in the rules, let me know.

Yes, I made a mistake that scum are likely to make, but I'm not scum. I'm saying that people can easily nail me as scum for saying that.

Also, I think Hoopla looks town-ish, and I kind of think farside is town now, crazy as that sounds. If I'm right, that would make the scum team have to be semioldguy and eikM.

Semioldguy voted eikM, so eikM is probably the goon, not the godfather. Also, semioldguy looks scummier on his own.

Dog, dog, dog, dog, dog.

Vote:semioldguy

Onto a proper post now I've got that unvote out of the way. Yos, those are some pretty wishy-washy assertions. I don't necessarily interpret Far_Cry's play as town behaviour. Reading through some of his other game posts, it seems he is no stranger to playing the newb card, whether intentionally or not.

@ Far_Cry: Instead of talking about your mistakes, do you know who the mafia are? Where do your current suspicions lie?

The thing is, Hoopla, I think you're town.

If you're town in a vengeful game, and you've identified one other person as town, then 2/3 of the other people are scum. At that point you should agressivly attack someone else, even based on very limited information, because there's a 2/3 chance you're right, and hopefully if you're agressive you can get a town-driven wagon going instead of a scum driven one.

I'm not that confident about far cry, but if I'm right about you being town (and I feel pretty confident about it; for one thing, your unvote there actually felt townish to me), then only one out of the other three people in the game is town. I'm guessing far cry at the moment.

Plus, I already thought semioldguy's origional attack on you didn't make sense.

That's all well and good if you're town, Yos. It's odd being buttered up this early - it feels like you're playing with me.

Fun fact: in the 3 completed games we've been in together, you've been scum every time, and I've been town every time.

(shrug) I'm not buttering you up. I'm stating my opinion; you have been acting in a very pro-town way, and I'm pretty confident you're town.

And as for it being "this early", meh. No one was really doing anything, no one was really scumhunting, the game was kind of stalling, Let's get this game moving. There's no reason a vengeful game should take that long anyway; let's just lynch the godfather and win. ;)

Hoopla isn't the one I am attacking for it, as Hoopla wasn't the one to suggest it in the first place, merely went along with it which earned the FoS rather than the vote. I've caught scum that way previously. What doesn't make sense about it? Voting is a power the town has to both use and analyze, and in majority. An attempt to take away that power by using other less accountable voting systems is a suspicious thing to suggest.

An FOS is still an attack.

Anyway, do you actually think that Hoopla is likely scum for supporting that?

Also, you've been voting ekiM since that point, but haven't actaully been attacking him, or asking him questions, or commenting on his other posts, or anything. What do you think about his play in general so far?
