The date is October 4th, 1986. The place is Rokkenjima Island, where the Ushiromiya mansion and main family resides...

It is the date of the annual Ushiromiya family conference...but little did the Ushiroymiyas know that this conference would be like no other before. After all, there were witches to be revived! Golden lands to visit! Successors to be chosen by mysterious epitaphs! Murders to be solved! The fantastic world of witches would be opened up, and even the most die hard skeptic can't stem the tide over

again!

But when the clock strikes midnight, certain beings realize something has gone wrong. The ritual isn't going as planned. Far too many people and magical beings have been killed! T-this isn't right!

Left with no recourse but to cooperate with each other, the remaining 13 beings decide to work together to find out who could be behind this tragedy...and hopefully prevent this from being the last Ushiromiya family conference ever.

Of course, suspicion is turned upon this young woman who washed onto shore shortly after the other girl...UncertainKitten, was her name I think? However, she proves her innocence quite handily by somehow having an alibi with every single person. Isn't that convenient?

She organizes all of you into a group, explains a mechanism that might allow you all to resolve who is behind these terrible crimes, hopefully before more are perpetrated...with that...she wishes the entire family luck and carefully views the proceedings in an unbiased manner...

End of Day One Scene

Shortly after the start of this game, a silence seems to fall over the crowd. UncertainKitten watches patiently waiting for someone to talk...and then notices half the people are asleep! Quickly irritated at this, she slaps them all away and tells them to kill someone in the next hour or else she'll CHOOSE someone to kill and hope it's the culprit!

Sufficiently motivated, they point their fingers all over the place, settling on NavyCherub, who, in what appears to be a panic, reveals his credentials. Whether you can believe them or not was a matter of debate, but it was mostly accepted that NavyCherub was indeed Beatrice's head furniture, Ronove. UncertainKitten, who knows just where everyone is aligned, says nothing in relation to this.

Shortly after this claim, Tarhalindur starts cackling madly. "hahahahaha! <I am Beatoriiche>! You better kill ME, culprit, or I will unravel your mysteries before you know it! In fact, everyone should lynch me now! I'll take whoever places the last vote with me! Hahahahaha!"

Everyone scrambles to figure out why someone would want to die, and right before the deadline UncertainKitten put forth is arrived at, the votes pile on Tarhalindur, a.k.a Beatrice. Netopalis foolishly places the last vote without realizing it, and cringes as Tarhalindur walks towards him.

He comes closer

And closer

And closer...

and merely says "Thank you" as he dies at the whims of the majority, and you discover she was just a human after all...

After taking a break for awhile, and somehow getting separated, the group reconvenes at around 3 AM...

However, it seems some people are missing. UncertainKitten takes a count of the people, but when she gets to Kairyuu, it seems he hasn't showed up...

So too were Snow_Bunny, magnus_orion, and NavyCherub missing.

Oh, then Kairyuu walks back in with a sandwich, apologizing for the delay in his arrival.

The other three hadn't returned after waiting almost a full half hour...

The search for them began, everyone staying together this time.

NavyCherub is quickly found in the hall, with some distinctive marks on his face and a lack of any signs of life, covered in some combination of blood and tea. You quickly deduce he was Ronove and working to find the culprits...

as you continue, you come upon a crude magical circle on Ushiromiya Eva's door. As you break into the room, you come upon Eva, who appears to have been brutally killed in an odd fashion. Something doesn't feel right about her, but you can't pin what it is. Regardless, you also discover quickly that she had the tools to commit killings, and deduce that she was one of the culprits. You breathe a sigh of relief knowing that at least one of the culprits is dead...but can't help but wonder who did this.

You finally complete your search of the house and can't find Snow_Bunny anywhere. It's 4 AM and you can only assume she's dead.

An uneasy feeling falls over you as UncertainKitten starts the proceedings of day again.

As the group settles in, Kairyuu almost immediately claims to be Kyrie, who claimed to follow Ronove, and found that he was quite popular. He tells CSL to tell everyone who he is, and he claims to be the innocent Maria, who hasn't done anything. A loud argument ensues, but very quickly, the group decides that CSL is lying.

As they string him up, they do indeed discover that he was not Maria...but her mother, Ushiromiya Rosa. And she was working with Eva to kill the entire group off and gain the inheritance!

UncertainKitten takes a note of the time, 4:30 AM, as Rosa dies...

Then, someone opens the door. Everyone on their guard prepares to attack the newcomer...only to see it's Snow_Bunny! She's returned!

Now for important stuff. Everyone, you're neglecting the last person who can be scum - namely, Kairyuu himself.

The existence of two scumgroups has been MOD CONFIRMED (red text, yo!), so 1) Kairyuu's continued refusal to believe in two scumgroups is incredibly scummy and 2) the "why would I out CSL" argument doesn't fly (of course he'd out CSL - he's in the other group!). Moreover, there's already one investigative role too many for a Mini, and watcher makes sense on a Mafioso.

As for other players: Leech is confirmed town by double confirmation. StrangerCoug is confirmed town (

There is only one vanilla townie in the game

). Probably one of the other investigative roles is town (leaning RayFrost, but not sure about that).

I have another comment to make on the claims, but it will wait until DisCode (and me, I suppose) has claimed. Also, you should totally ask questions in blue text if able.

It has come to my attention some players don't know what a demoralizer is. Since I have used that role in the past and the information isn't secret, I will explain.

A demoralizer is a role that causes it's target to lose all passive and activated abilities for the next two phases. So if they target someone N1, the player targetted is effectively vanilla of their alignment for D2 and N2

Nothing really to say here. D1, I wasn't sure who'd win.

D2, I was certain town would win. The Child Abuse mafia died too fast.

D3, I was still sure town would win. Hell, even N3 I spent half of it seeing Bitchiness as the underdog. But, they came through and got lucky.

Honestly, I was afraid that town had collusive lockdown with the red text. SC was confirmed, Leech was confirmed, Glork probably would have become confirmed. I'm not sure if the role PMs were quote proof or not. I'd like to think they were but I think I just got lucky that things didn't shake down completely unbalanced.

Either way, I had fun with a couple of the roles, and it felt good to actually get vote counts out regularly. Probably my best MODDING experience...I hope you all enjoyed the game, though it was really short :S

If you pre-/in for my games, you have the option of including a list of players you

want to play with. If a players name appears 5 or more times, that player will not be allowed in the game. Hopefully this change won't adversely affect anything. I merely would like to give players an enjoyable game experience.

I might be /in for that. It's not power roles I hate- I'd be up for a vanillaless game any day- but when make the day game look like a joke the density is too high.
I don't want to sound bitter because I was on the losing side. Our scumteam won TTGL in a very similar way. Jahudo messed up and claimed cult leader as town, and self-voted. Quickvote x3, gg. And the games probably are balanced, they're just so swingy based on the night stuff. I haven't looked at it closely but a scum team could probably have won even if town did something like lynch a low-power townie D1, then two members of a scumteam D2 and D3.

Nyeh, I understand what you mean. See, you came to my games in a more power heavy time. Poof was power heavy but far more day based (though imbal'd by one role). IA I was basically "Don't let the night game rule you", and probably simultanious my most balanced and most bastardly game.

TTGL was a mess, I freely admit that. It COULD be balanced, but dear God did I screw that up. This game I think probably did well at swingy but balanced, but night interactions made things strange.

It would probably depend on how the night kills fell. Also, NC's Global Roleblock would have slowed the game down, which was the point. Generally good to fire that off N2. Course, he died, but I still don't think the game was unbalanced even at the end. Scum just flat got lucky. If they hadn't targetted Tar, town would almost certainly have won. You guys were very close to collusive lockdown thanks to red text. And could have possibly secured it if you tricked me with blue text.

haha, I guess that kind of sums up this game for me. A scumteam won because they targeted a dead player with a rolecop ability before he could force the mod to break the setup for him.

I'm not certain I could be forced to break the set up. I would probably review all dubious questions with my back up mod. But you would get some information. Honestly, the pre given red text was more powerful than I ever anticipated. But I knew I needed a Beatrice Role like that. It was unavoidable .

But yeah, that was some unorthodox winning :S.

Damn, I wasn't expecting a Loss...I was expecting a LyLo situation. Well, it was a fun game. VERY fast paced in the last few day phases though. I think if we took our time in the last phase, we could have won.

You probably would have. The quicklynch made things bad. Everyone figuring out Tar was alive didn't help things. If you HAD hit lylo town would have certainly won though. It was fun to watch.
