Yes, but keep in mind nobody else has claimed, and the two people who have died are (apparently) vanilla townies. Logic would dictate that the secret nature of the ballot gives an advantage to the mafia to begin with, and if all that's been killed so far are vanilla townies, it's fairly reasonable to assume that the overall powerlevel of the town is low (few power roles, in other words).

Also, how much sense is it for the mafia to spy on votes? It makes more sense as a town ability than a mafia ability to me.

Point taken. At this point, I'm inclined to believe Choco...the only thing making it even remotely close is KE's steadfastness that Choco is scum. It just might not be enough to convince me to lynch. It might be time to pick a new candidate.

Considering the low activity level of this game, plus the fact that the weekend is OVER (it's late at night sunday right now), I don't think your weekend plans will be affected in any way by this game.

I'm a little surprised at KingEnigma, whom after spending all day harping on ChocoCid, has now hastily decided that one of inHim or I should be the target. Or am I misreading his last post?

As for KE's post, I'm not sure what to think of it. I'll take it for the better - he comes to the conclusion we're just pro-town squabblers, and makes a lighthearted attempt in conveying such.

Deadline's going to catch us, and we've got nothing. I suggest a lurky lurking lurker. Someone comes to mind, or possibly STD, as I'm quite sure he has fallen off the edge of the world for at least September.

At this point I'm not that suspicious of KE, and I'm not entirely comfortable with how Choco and cam seem to be getting along at the moment. Choco claims a role I predicted would be in the game day one, and cam theorizes on how to test the claim but concludes that this isn't possible.

Since Choco and I were attacking eachother day 1, I suggest that I throw a random vote tonight and we get to test Choco's ability.

I'm quite happy to listen to ideas that show my "impossibility theory" fallacious, but I just don't think it's going to happen. I'm not entirely unhappy with the Choco lynch anyway...losing that role is hardly much of a loss, especially since the scum know it's out there (they'll probably just fall in line and vote with the town), and if he's innocent, we can take a good long look at King Enigma in the morning. But in my defense, I'm the only one who seems to think Choco's behavior on day 1 wasn't all that scummy.

On the other hand, I still haven't gotten over KE's last post...maybe it'll just take some clarification from him, but his abrupt shift from "KILL KILL KILL CHOCO" to "Eh, let's just lynch one of these two" was pretty startling.

Astro, if you randomly vote tonight and i target you and you die tonight, you've essentially wasted your vote.
If I die tonight, you've wasted your vote.
If there's any roles that mess with the vote, someone could change your vote to something else and I'd have the actual vote, you'd have a wrong thing, and I get lynched tomorrow for not having the right vote.

It makes sense on the surface but too much can go wrong with it.

As for lurkers, Ibaesha and Someone are the two people whose posts are farthest back in the thread.
STD has lurked, but he's even got it in his signature that he's busy and has showed up more recently than those two. We've gotta make a decision fast though, deadline's tomorrow.
I get a feeling we're going to have a split vote and end up having to choose between two people at twilight.

You'll be waiting a long time if you want me to disprove your theory, cam. Having Choco check out my vote is my best suggestion, since the dispute between us is "proof" that we're not scum together.

Hmm. I've actually been reading the thread, but have seen nothing of importance to convey to you guys. However, I guess I still should have been posting.

My opinion hasn't changed...Choco is a unconfirmable, easy to claim, not very powerful role. Also, there's the added bonus of him acting rather suspiciously during D1. I've been waiting for you guys to find another way for us to go, but we've been going in circles. I still maintain that choco is our best shot for today.

The king has been acting weird...but if his play is scummy I have no idea. Astro is okay in my book, and I don't see much suspicious in mathcam either.

Either way, the deadline is approaching fast, and I would be willing to vote along with the majority, whatever the majority happens to choose. Just choose fast...

I don't think we have time to discuss something. Maybe the best bet is to let everyone vote their suspicions and see who the two people are who come up for lynch? That could give us some clues... of course, it could end up with a dead townie as well, so that's probably not the best idea. We can't really do much with deadline being tomorrow IRL unless this thread gets insanely active, in which case mod retracts deadline anyway.
