I think that, overall, good players are going to be aware enough of the majority of their meta that it is easy to manipulate.

Additionally, I think that, overall, poor players are going to be in a state of flux until they become good players (or settle on being poor players and thus get lynched for in-game activities).

So, mostly, meta is overused and waaayyy overvalued. There MAY *shhh this is a secret* that from playing a game with someone I get a tick in a different game that makes me reread them closer and find out whats causing a tick but if its just OMG META never.

ACTUALLY, considering how realistically the revive mechanic could make it really hard for scum to win I'm not swayed by the too powerful for scum argument one bit.

The revive/restore mechanics require some way for scum to manipulate it or, especially with less players, the same town player will be there over and over again.

There is, realistically, three ways for this to work: a single scumgroup with more than one method to kill (forcing a dilemma on who to raise), a method to keep the restorations from working or a method to eliminate people in the hall (mandos-vig).

We've just seen the middle - done by PM even so there isn't even a way to KNOW how its going to happen if it were to go that way.

Lets get the destroy and revive taken care of for now. I could believe that claim, for now. Especially since I think I've got an idea. A wild and wacky one that may, in fact, tear this roof wide open.

Like I said before I'm assuming based on the elf-mechanic AND what we've seen (Goon, Goon, 1-Shot Absorber) versus (Ninja, Inventor) 1 more of each for balance.

It may, in fact, be time for a massclaim. 2/11 scum with a confirmed in nacho that can't be killed I think is a number spread I like.

Thoughts? I -may- be missing something key: I'm concerned with role and race, not really the simillarirorin part.

I was going to do more wild and wacky fun breakdowns but lets look at some key issues (since I know TM what nacho is going to claim).

Starbuck - Scum. We'll go ahead and say the "Odd man out" if you will. Gorlim & Xvart are the guards for Zito's Barahir. Drip is the protagonist. Starbuck? Just some dude.

Jack - Way up the scum charts. One simple reason: every named elf has a power. The vanillas were truly vanilla in elfland.

If its not one of those two its one of the pit. It has to be. Everything else adds up too well. If all those were gone and it was still going errr Budja? Maybe.

JScope, MPR and Cyberbob be my most town reads post-claim. I DO want the other J-scope powers known to see how to dance the dance from here on.

I'll admit I'd love a way to get that sweet sweet farside in my hands. Double jailing hoo.
