After a pretty shocking flip: SharkFinn, KageLord, LynchMePls, diginova and Faraday are sitting around the table looking suspiciously at each other.

Diginova (Yu-Law) was feeling powerful with the energy absorbed from each kill so far and knew he was all but one kill away from being unstoppable.

On the other side of the table, two of the Mafia-ites were communicating with silent gestures - unnoticed by the rest of the table. Their mandate was to stop all these pesky time travelers and their allies. They had done a fairly good job so far but knew that there was a powerful being amongst them who needed to be stopped ..

They took their time deciding but in the end, decided to kill SharkFinn (Professor X) who was a threat irrespective of his alignment. The lights went off at the pre-determined time and LMP took his shot.

The shot unsettled digi. He knew there was a Mafia-ite alive, but could there be two? Anyway, even two of them wouldn't be able to stop them if he absorbed one more life source. But he needed to be right and kill a time-traveler; a mistake at this point would be unfortunate after all that effort. And he knew KageLord was a time-traveler .. He let lose a blast of energy towards KageLord ....

Which passed through him and hit the wall behind him. Digi was too startled but LMP, Faraday and (another) KageLord! quickly stepped up and overpowered digi to kill him.

KageLord shouts ecstatically "Did ya see that? I knew something like this would happen so I created a shadow of myself.". He jumps up and down but in his excitement, does not notice LMP taking his gun out from within his coat pocket ....

You are a nobody. Or should that be your “were” a nobody? Technically time chroniclers would phrase it as “John Smith would have been a nobody if not for that night which changed his life”.

It was Night 4 to be precise; You used to work as a janitor in a research and development lab. Nobody paid any attention to you. But you on the other hand, paid a lot of attention to them. When you overheard that a time machine prototype was finally ready, you decided that you were going to sell the plans to rival corporation and become a “Somebody” finally. The scientists never worked late night on Friday nights, so you thought you were safe. Unfortunately for you, (or is it fortunately in hindsight), Dr.Quest dropped into the lab and caught you copying the plans. In the scuffle that ensued, you beat him to death with your wrench.

That was when a normal man would have panicked; because there was no escaping from a murder charge. But the path before you was clear. Use the time machine – travel back to the past. You collect whatever you can find in the lab – a camouflage unit, two protective units and of course, your sports almanac from the janitor closet. You used the machine not knowing if it would successfully work. However, a short bright colored nauseating experience later, you find yourself in Day one. You immediately head for the nearest betting shop and know that you are going to become rich and powerful!

However, nothing can be so perfect or so easy. Here’s the catch – You have to make sure that Night 4 happens as planned. That means Dr.Quest has to stay alive till then. So do you – to make sure he visits the lab that day. After all, nobody said becoming a “Somebody” is an easy task…

Stick to the Script (Triggered)

Trigger:
Start of Night 4 - if Dr.Quest (MagnaOfIllusion) is still alive
You will make sure he visits the lab that night. Your other self will kill him with the wrench and travel back in time.

Keep a close eye (Innate)

Because Dr.Quest is so important to your own survival, you have used your cover as Mr.Bannon to strike up a friendship with him. Hence, you are

You have with you two protective units. It is a “unstoppable” one-shot protect i.e protects wearer from all kills for one night and cannot be roleblocked. To use a unit on a particular night, please send a PM with your intention to do so and your target – who you wish to use it on. You may choose to use the unit on yourself. You can only use one protective unit each night.

False claim:
As mentioned above, you have used your camouflage unit to pretend that you are Mr.Bannon.

Win Condition:
You win the game if the passive ability “Stick to the Script” resolves successfully.
Note:
In other words, just make sure that neither you or Dr.Quest are lynched or night-killed before Night 4. If not, you lose the game and are removed from the game immediately.
Yu-Law (One)

You were once a member of the organization policing interdimensional travel (via detecting wormhole openings, which can be predicted like the weather). During one mission, you realized that killing other time travelers gives you more power. You now seek to hunt down and kill all time travelers in this alternate universes to absorb a common life force that connects them all. Due to your sadistic nature, you also feel like killing all their allies.


Abilities:

SK-Kill (Night)

Each night, you may target a player. If successful, he\she will be killed. Your kill signature is “brutually murdered”.

Prior (Innate)

In the previous universe, you killed a lot of powerful costumed crime-fighters. You have absorbed all their life forces - Hence you start the game with 2 Life counters.

Absorb Life Force (Triggered)

You killing a player of "Class: Time-Traveller"
You gain a life counter.

Unstoppable (Triggered)

Gaining 7 life counters
You win the game. You are removed from the game.

Super-Human (Triggered | One-shot)

Night Kill-attempt on you
If a night-kill is about to resolve successfully on you (i.e no roleblocks or protects), you expend 2 life counters to counter the kill. If you do not have the counters to expend, you die.

Energy Blast (Night | One-shot)

You have to spend one life counter to use this ability. This ability does not count for the "Only one night ability can be used every night" rule. Target a player; if successful, all their night actions will fail.

SK win if SK has reached 7 counters
SK win if SK still has one-shot roleblock (or) one-shot bulletproof (or) Day-kill left

Game continues if SK has Day-kill. Otherwise

Ugh, can't believe we lost this game. SK that wins before last man standing and has a daykill... sigh. GG everyone.

When I was reading the roles I was like "But he's only had 4 kills, he can't have won yet" but I forgot about the daykill.

So if digi targeted Faraday instead of KL it would have been digi win? That is awesome. What a close game.

I seriously can't believe I lived after I made that CML=Clare scumslip on D2. Rhinox said in thread that he knew who Clare was. Later I said CML when talking about Clare. The only reason I knew CML was Clare was because of the scum QT. People even pointed out that I shouldn't have known who Clare was. Yet somehow I just ignored it, the Rhinox lynch went through, we NKed Anon, and everyone just completely forgot. I was stunned I was still alive, and I was sweating bullets because I had to either claim a tracker (which would explain how I knew that CML=Clare) or claim my actual Cop abilities, and just hope people never remembered the CML=Clare thing. I went with claiming Cop, since I knew I could produce results from my actual cop ability. When Anon *facepalmed* in his BAH post I was laughing so hard.

GG everyone, that game was ALOT of fun.

Was there something to the time-traveler/non-time-traveler other than the SK's win condition?

Well damn me for getting emotional and copying my role pm, although damn mayfu and whoever else was pushing me

RC- did NOTHING to help town IMO

glad my early reads on rhinox, lmp, and digi were right, I knew they were all scum, just couldn't get anyone to beleive me. Also think mafia cop is a lame role, mafia already had the edge. Props to lmp for using it to get me to sort of defend you when you cleared me.

Wow. Did not remember that was you. I thought something of it at the time, but for some reason I didn't connect it with you after the cop claim and then just completely forgot. Well... damn.

And big surprise that SF flips town as well. So both my finishing reads (RC and SF) were wrong.

Agreed about the scumcops thing though. That's really quite powerful (not only because of the actual ability, but because of how unexpected two scumcops are). After Rhinox I thought there was no way LMP would be scum (I had some doubts on I doubt it at the beginning (well, not when I replaced in, but soon after), but all of the inactivity and replacing kind of made me ignore it). Lol now I kind of wish I let digi kill me. Last townie standing! XD

So in order to win this I needed to be even more impossibly lucky than I already was hitting TTs every day?

I could have won in a 2-1-1 though so the ending is bs. I still had both a roleblock AND was still 1-shot BP.

Our win condition was to be 50% of the town, which we were. What was bs? You could have won from that position, but we'd fulfilled our win condition.

As for the 7 life counters, I agree that fulfilling that win condition seems highly unlikely, but you almost did. If you'd killed Faraday instead of KL (who even hinted that he had a self-saving PR) you would have won. Heck, if you'd have targeted me you would have won too, since I was actually a Time-Traveler (although I claimed non-time-traveler).

Are you really complaining about being an SK with a 1-shot bulletproof, 1-shot roleblock, 1-shot DAYKILL with an alternate win condition (tough to fulfill, but could help you win faster)? I think your role was really well balanced. The only problem I see is that because there was the lover (so 2 people died for 1) AND the reverse-survivor thing, the number of players died really quickly, so it made it difficult for you to ever get to 7 counters. But whats the alternative? If there were more players, then it would have just been harder to reach your Last Man Standing condition.

I think the setup was really cool. If anything I think the town was underpowered. The SK was certainly not.
