Dranko20: How can you be sure?Dranko20 wrote:vote: elvis_knits cause elvis don't knit foo.
Also, why does Ibaesha get two votes today? Does her "additional access" have something to do with her role power, or is it just a function of this screwed up system, might happen to anybody regardless of role?-

You know what's also shady about RotN? He originally voted armlx, but unvoted as soon as armlx had two votes. Then he jumped on the Thok bandwagon.Dranko20 wrote: (/aisde to self it's interesting that RangeroftheNorth votes me instead of armlx, when armlx was obviously a million billion more scummy in his last post of trying to kill of thok before any real claiming. armlx may be scummier right now, but I don't want him to get ten votes in five minutes like happened with Thok. I'll just call out RotN too.
unvote; vote: RangeroftheNorth-

You could have waited to see if he was indeed going to come up with "something stupid." I think if someone is claiming, you should at least give them time to claim so you can evaluate that claim.armlx wrote:I was lynching Thok under the concept he had admitted he was mafia. I figured he was making a bad play and then tried to simply buy time for something stupid.
Also, I see the oregano-pizza-mafia connection (sort of), but I don't think that really counts as him "admitting he was mafia."
I would vote you except you're pretty near the lynch, and I want to keep pressure on your scum buddy, RangeroftheNorth.-

LOL. I didn't know what he was talking about when he said "I have a bad feeling about this." I was very...confused. And why didn't he say what episode it came from? I would assume all the quotes came to us in the same form.
So I'm sort of nervous to put on the lynching vote (as I never have before), but the evidence is overwhelming. Does it get any better than this? I'm putting on the lynching vote (provided Norinel counts raj).
unvote
finishing vote: armlx-

Stoofer -- First of all, I am of the female persuasion. (I know it can be confusing with a name like Elvis, but I am a "she.")
Anyway, you are right about me being cautious about putting the finishing vote on armlx, mostly because I have been lynching wrong all the time lately. You can take a look at Newbie 149 if you don't believe me. When you put all my posts together like that I can see how it looks apologetic, but really I was just tring to explain my reasoning.
My reasoning for not voting armlx at that time was that I thought him and RangeroftheNorth were both scum and I didn't want a landslide bandwagon on armlx before everyone had a chance to read and post. Also, I thought RangeroftheNorth was scummy too, so I don't see why that's a bad vote on my part.Mr Stoofer wrote:: I find his posting weird. He gave a strange, unconvincing reason for not voting armlx (post 103). Trying to push the bandwagon on the townie forward without ending up on it? (See also comments on RangeroftheNorth below.)elvis_knits
Here I follow through on my accusations on armlx's scumminess. What's wrong with that? First you'r criticising me for not voting armlx, then you're criticising me for voting him. Seems you want to criticize me either way.Mr Stoofer wrote:Then when he applied the finishing vote to armlx (post 110) he was very defensive about it: "I'm sort of nervous to put on the lynching vote (as I never have before), but the evidence is overwhelming. Does it get any better than this?" Why do defensive? Because he knew armlx was pro-town?

And who are you to criticize me for voting based on a reason you used yourself? How can you criticize me for agreeing with you?
I don't know where I was defensive here. At least I changed my vote when I got an explanation from Dranko. You said you didn't believe dranko's explanation until the bandwagon had lost steam. Seems to me you only unvoted Dranko when you realized you couldn't get the lynch.Mr Stoofer wrote:Post 159, where he unvotes Dranko, also seems defensive - trying again, too hard IMHO, to justify his initial vote on Dranko20.-

so you're gonna ignore post 193, my point-by-point reaction to your accusation, and then slam me for making a joke?Mr Stoofer wrote:I'm happy with my vote, and posts like the above don't make we want to change it.

Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see Stoofer revealing his message. Stoofer -- I'd like to hear it if you are willing to reveal.Thok wrote:I need to reread; I sent Stoofer a message today-he can reveal whatever part of the content he desires.
I had forgotten Stoofer was Thok's choice for his message-sending abilities. Makes me think he's town, or atleast Thok thought he was town. (Unless they're both scum).
unvote Mr Stoofer
And also: Quailman...Dranko has already claimed. You saying you don't believe his claim?-

I'm starting now. If people are gonna bust on me for trying to explain my reasons, I'd rather take the beating without having to go to the trouble to explain myself.Talk nerdy to me.

Is it really that suspicious that I didn't write my reason for voting peacebringer? It's because he has needed prodding twice and has been jumping on each bandwagon.Talk nerdy to me.

Ibaesha -- I have answered basically all those questions before. I will answer them again though...
1) As for Stoofer's allegations, I answered them right away, back in post 193 -- copied here for your convenience:
2) I voted Stoofer for the reason I outlined above -- I felt like he only unvoted Dranko after realizing the bandwagon was losing steam. He said he didn't believe the claim originally, but then unvoted when other people believed Dranko.elvis_knits wrote:Stoofer -- First of all, I am of the female persuasion. 3) I unvoted after "loving the vote" because I reread the thread and realized Thok sent his message to Stoofer that night. It made me think twice about my vote. I figured if Thok thought Stoofer was safe enough to send a message to, maybe I was all wrong about him. (I already said most of this in post 303).
And about not putting it elsewhere, I didn't put it elsewhere because this is my first mafia game with this many people and I am having trouble telling who is scum. Some people get away with bandwagoning, and some don't. Some people get away with spamming the thread (ahem, Fritzler) and some people do not. You're gonna say it all has to do with consistency, but if a player normally jumps bandwagons, does that excuse them from ever being scum?
But, you are right, Ibaesha, I should be voting for somebody. So I am. Leads me to...
4. I didn't vote for PB just to satisfy people. I voted for him because he has needed prodding twice and has been very happy to jump on any bandwagon for any reason. (Already said this in post 362.)
As for the rest of my defensive behavior, it's probably because I feel frustrated that people are just ignoring me when I defend myself. It's fine if you want to disagree with my defense, but to just pretend like I haven't said all this before is really annoying. Maybe you missed it though. This has been a long day 2.-
