Yes, that was my 8th post. I was never really that active, but i'm usually in 3 games at once and I usually last a while in each, so that probably balances it out.

Not trying to justify his votes =/= random voting. His playstyle is risky, and it could be argued to be anti-town by some (something which I disagree with). However, he is putting himself in a position that scum wouldn't want: for example, he is late to this wagon without much reasoning. Scum tend to avoid such positions.
Like I said; I don't see scum motivation for his actions, and that's what I look for.

You should place your vote on people you find scummy, when you find them scummy. Don't worry about putting people at L-1 or not, scum quickhammering is not actually a legitimate threat, despite popular opinion.

You should seriously go play some newbie games... I hate it when people get tunneled base on who just hammered someone etc etc. Lynching is a town effort, the hammer was just one person's contribution amongst many others who lead to the lynch.
Then you have the idiots who take how people vote in RVS as gospel using the fact that because you put someone at L-1 in RVS, you must be scum (or w/e) when the game is 30 pages long. I pity those fools.

Also, I looked at Uprising's first game on this site, Newbie 1005. For those who call her town based on her current play, I suggest you have a gander over at that game, where she was a town cop. I actually have a really good feeling she is being coached to play scum right now.

well.

I really cannot get reads in the first day. Additionally a lot of people posts a lot of nonsense over non-existing reads and in the end day one ends up in a random lynch anyway. Usually the Content/Spam ratio at the beginning of games (and usually all day 1) is extremely low, so I really am not going to read every post.
I like it to slowly tune in on the game, posting more and more, and more and more content, while forgetting and ignoring less and less. The time this process takes is usually dependent on the game, the players, the flips, etc. but I couldn't really tell in which way.
That way I can more or less ignore the whole useless stuff.
There are games where I feel like being active from the very beginning, there was one game where I really couldn't get into the game for the whole game.

Additionally it gives me reads in the long run. Since I know that I am town, if player X attacks me, I can judge X's attack in a much more efficient way than if X had attacked someone who's alignment I don't know.

Last but not least, it makes the game funnier for me.

I understand that it may piss some of you off a little, I really do. But nonetheless, I feel this kind of playstyle is the best for me, and trust me, in the end it will turn out to be pro-town at least as much as the whole day-one spam.

I'm pretty uncertain between Cooldog and Moospiker at this point. Cooldog-town was based on NS-scum. However, Moospiker is pretty much scummy either way.
