Since Elvis is one of my suspects along with Ranger I can vote there.

The Dranko vote is questionable but might be fueled by wanting to get through the day.

PBug is on my suspect list as well.

SOS and Shamrock have asked me for a defense. If they want one, they should first tell me what it is I am supposed to be defending.

Elvis:

1. The points Mr. Stoofer originally made.
2. The defensiveness towards Mr. Stoofer and the OMGUS vote.
3. Unvoting after 'loving the vote' without putting it elsewhere. (not finding others suspicious)
4. Coming up with a vote on PB just to satisfy people.

All defensive behavior.

As far as your point about how to defend yourself against the fact that you're being defensive, that's a good one. I don't know the answer to it entirely. But I do agree with Raj, you appear to be hiding something.

Vote stands.

Ibaesha -- I have answered basically all those questions before. I will answer them again though...

1) As for Stoofer's allegations, I answered them right away, back in post 193 -- copied here for your convenience:
elvis_knits wrote:Stoofer -- First of all, I am of the female persuasion. (I know it can be confusing with a name like Elvis, but I am a "she.")

Anyway, you are right about me being cautious about putting the finishing vote on armlx, mostly because I have been lynching wrong all the time lately. You can take a look at Newbie 149 if you don't believe me. When you put all my posts together like that I can see how it looks apologetic, but really I was just tring to explain my reasoning.
Mr Stoofer wrote:
elvis_knits
: I find his posting weird. He gave a strange, unconvincing reason for not voting armlx (post 103). Trying to push the bandwagon on the townie forward without ending up on it? (See also comments on RangeroftheNorth below.)
My reasoning for not voting armlx at that time was that I thought him and RangeroftheNorth were both scum and I didn't want a landslide bandwagon on armlx before everyone had a chance to read and post. Also, I thought RangeroftheNorth was scummy too, so I don't see why that's a bad vote on my part.
Mr Stoofer wrote:Then when he applied the finishing vote to armlx (post 110) he was very defensive about it: "I'm sort of nervous to put on the lynching vote (as I never have before), but the evidence is overwhelming. Does it get any better than this?" Why do defensive? Because he knew armlx was pro-town?
Here I follow through on my accusations on armlx's scumminess. What's wrong with that? First you'r criticising me for not voting armlx, then you're criticising me for voting him. Seems you want to criticize me either way.
Mr Stoofer wrote:Simialrly, when he voted Dranko20 (post 130) he was at pains to point out that someone else was pushing the bandwagon.
I said I liked
your
reason for voting Dranko. I agreed with it. And who are you to criticize me for voting based on a reason you used yourself? How can you criticize me for agreeing with you?
Mr Stoofer wrote:Post 159, where he unvotes Dranko, also seems defensive - trying again, too hard IMHO, to justify his initial vote on Dranko20.
I don't know where I was defensive here. At least I changed my vote when I got an explanation from Dranko. You said you didn't believe dranko's explanation until the bandwagon had lost steam. Seems to me you only unvoted Dranko when you realized you couldn't get the lynch.
2) I voted Stoofer for the reason I outlined above -- I felt like he only unvoted Dranko after realizing the bandwagon was losing steam. He said he didn't believe the claim originally, but then unvoted when other people believed Dranko.

3) I unvoted after "loving the vote" because I reread the thread and realized Thok sent his message to Stoofer that night. It made me think twice about my vote. I figured if Thok thought Stoofer was safe enough to send a message to, maybe I was all wrong about him. (I already said most of this in post 303).

And about not putting it elsewhere, I didn't put it elsewhere because this is my first mafia game with this many people and I am having trouble telling who is scum. Some people get away with bandwagoning, and some don't. Some people get away with spamming the thread (ahem, Fritzler) and some people do not. You're gonna say it all has to do with consistency, but if a player normally jumps bandwagons, does that excuse them from ever being scum?

But, you are right, Ibaesha, I should be voting for somebody. So I am. Leads me to...

4. I didn't vote for PB just to satisfy people. I voted for him because he has needed prodding twice and has been very happy to jump on any bandwagon for any reason. (Already said this in post 362.)

As for the rest of my defensive behavior, it's probably because I feel frustrated that people are just ignoring me when I defend myself. It's fine if you want to disagree with my defense, but to just pretend like I haven't said all this before is really annoying. Maybe you missed it though. This has been a long day 2.

Nope, not jumped on just any bandwagon. I have only voted for people I do suspect. If I were bandwagon jumping I would be on Dranko.

You on the other hand are jumping on a vote for someone who singled you out as a suspect earlier. See a chance, perhaps to jump on a vote to get me out of the game, and avoid that pressure.

it was a nice defense. but i still got early scummy vibes. it could ahve been inexperience with a large game.... or she could be real good at digging herself out of holes...

Three shall be the number of the counting, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four thou shalt not count, neither shalt thou count two, excepting that thou then proceedeth to three. Five is right out.

Is the whole premise, if I am correct.
