Move Count 1.11!

Trendall - 9 (Primate, Kublai Khan, Gobots, VP Baltar, Furcolow, Thor665, Debonair Danny DiPietro, jediknight, Hoppster)
Scott Brosius - 5 (Erratus Apathos, SnakePlissken, bristep123, Lowell, VasudeVa)
Thor665 - 3 (sottyrulez, GMan, jasonT1981)
Gobots - 2 (Vezokpiraka, Kise)
Nero Cain - 1 (Internet Stranger)
Baby Spice - 1 (AurorusVox)
AurorusVox - 1 (Baby Spice)
SnakePlissken - 1 (Scott Brosius)
Lowell - 1 (Nero Cain)
Erratus Apathos - 1 (chesskid3)

Not voting - 2 (Trendall, Bella)

With 27 superstars active it takes 14 to eliminate a superstar.

JR: Things are going from bad to worse for Trendall here! The previous chaos has now taken on focus as the other superstars appear hell-bent on punishing him.

King: Hoppster drives his knee hard into Trendall's spine with a backbreaker! Trendall rolling around in agony but Hoppster drags him up...and spinebusters him hard on the corridor floor!

JR: Hoppster really working the back here...and I think Trendall is in even more trouble as Hoppster pulls him up...REVERSE PILEDRIVER! Did you hear that nauseating thud? Trendall is busted wide open!

GMan and Bella have been prodded. The vote count errors should be corrected, thanks to those who pointed them out!

Deadline is Friday 11th March at 10:00AM GMT. A countdown to that time is here.

Word counter: here.
If ya smell what The Locke is cookin'!

I don't think there is much to the Trendall wagon meself as well.

Still want that GMan wagon, but everyone's ignoring me so.
Call me Vas, ;D A little less active than I used to be due to IRL. Hoping to be back up to speed soon-ish!

People think trendal is scum because he is not to vocal. I'm not sure that's a thing.
If this is his first large game I don't expect him to be vocal. Even more so because of players like DDD and thor.

That is not the main reason people think trendall is scum. If you're going to cut down the wagon at least attack the main reason people are voting him, which is that he's more concerned with appeasing his attackers than he is with scumhunting.

Also, '5 people voted' and similar reasons are dumb in a large game where it takes 14 players to lynch. This is why D1 in large games are always stupid. Let's try to keep this under 50 pages for whoever ends up replacing Bella.

Bella takes a swing but misses, her momentum allowing her to be planted face first into the floor with a flapjack!

I don't intend on being replaced, but keeping things short is a good idea, since I might actually be able to properly catch up that way. It really doesn't help that quoting is banned.

So, quoting is banned and yet you just quoted that post.

And Trendall's newness doesn't excuse or counter his complete absence of scumhunting; playing a large game like this is certainly different and you might not be effective in getting together a wagon but that doesn't mean you don't see something scummy and go "hey, this is scummy" just like in any other game and so far Trendall has completely failed to do that.

BS: I was talking hypothetically to get your angle on the fluff vs nothing debate specifically. Fluff is worse than nothing at all (i.e. active lurking is worse than plain lurking). Yes you posted content at first, but you then felt the need to make fluff posts purely because you didn't want to be accused of not posting anything later in the rumble. You were trying to cover your back. You used non-content as a scumhunting tool and so when you didn't want to post content later in the rumble you fluffed to avoid the accusation of hypocrisy.

"You have claimed that I was voting a VI, which I deny whilst you vote for me whom others claim is a VI which you deny.
These are the same circumstances, so what makes me scum and you town then? Or vice verca?"
The difference is I'm playing the game from my perspective. If I had to use "what you thought" as the basis for everything I do, then I'm not going to be getting very far, am I?

---

Chess, why would you vote for someone you think is town?

Jason: “Very interesting” Do agree with Baby that that is a scum slip?

Trendall: VP Baltar, Furcolow, Thor665, Debonair Danny DiPietro, jediknight, Hoppster ← These are all the people that voted you since you called your wagon town. Which ones are the opportunistic scum?

I see Thor on that list. Thor's name sure comes up a lot during discussions on who is scummy.

Thor at least is opportunistic scum. His ISO #53, where he's saying 'you're ambivalent on on Gobots and IS?' reeks to me of scum trying to get the town to fight amongst each other rather. Also, in his ISO #48, he asks why I am scummy, and then later on he votes for me. So he's gone from not seeing why I'm scummy to joining my bandwagon for no discernible reason. I'm wary of Kublai Kahn for suggesting that I'm so vocal a player in other games that it's unusual that I'm not talking much in this one. I'm hardly that vocal in any of my games, and I don't know whether that's just because Kublai didn't read my past games properly, or he's trying to manipulate information to paint me as mafia. VP 'knows' that I'm scum, even though I'd posted so little at that point that I was unreadable, which seems unusual to me. Wary of him too. Furcolow's voting for me because I said I'm town, which seems like a shaky reason. So some of them are probably scum. The rest are town.

Wasn't aware I was claiming to "know" you're scum trendall. Also, your point that you'd posted so little at that point that you couldn't possibly be readable is ridiculous. I explained very explicitly why I think you're scum. I don't need a million posts to get a read on fail-scum.

There's a difference between knowing someone is scum and being assertive about a scum read. Care to respond to my other, more pertinent point?
