btw, this is my first basic 12 player open. so looked it up in the wiki. And saw the "follow the cop" thing. what do people think about that. AND NO I AM NOT ASKING FOR CLAIMS,just what people think about the general idea -good idea or not?

well, if it works why not? To be honest, my question is born out of puzzlement. Clearly, the mod is an experienced mafia player, so why set up a game that can be "broken". Which makes me think that it can not be.
Yet the wiki says it can be.

Purely based on the fact that in both games i was in as scum, scum replaced out.
Clearly, 2 games is not enough evidence to call it a "tell".

i don't know that people trying to start conversation is all that scummy. and don't worry about the OMGUS, i dont really read into that crap, and frankly it annoys me when people call other people out on it, but i'm glad you were worried that you'd be called out on it and had a nice pre-defense.

I have to say, I realise not everyone on Kingpins BW are scum. But i urge the townies on it to get off. This is a ludicrous BW.
Its based on the guy saying for "want of a better joke". Scum have now successfully built up a couple of pages on that, so it now looks like a case.

To be clear -- his behavior is only irrational if he is town. It's rational -- for scumdefense or Cassandra -- if he's scum. That's why I think it's a likely scumtell.

So, by your logic, its ok to be confident in scumhunting (vote so-and -so -he looks scum to me!), but not be confident in who you think is town?
And -although this is a different point,its more relevant to the Kingpin case -people may not be confident that he's town. But they maybe confident that the accusations against him are unfounded.
My position is the second one. Although if people look pro-town, i will say so. Process of elimation is a useful tool as well.
