YARR RLY! That was the original reason for my vote, yes (although it was actually 4 votes). So? I'm not scum with Sudo since I am town.Ranmaru wrote:

It was a serious response. I could talk about creating pressure here (I'm not wagonning for the fun of it; I'm wagonning for the wagonning), but for the most part it's simply that I like saying it.Crazy wrote:

It's neither wrong nor fallacious. It's a simple application of modus tollens to the implication (Sudo and CES are scum together) --> (CES is scum.)Nobody Special wrote:

1) Explain. As I see it, we're just talking about the implicit meaning of "Why isn't X dead yet?" as used by me. I wouldn't expect use of language to change that much depending on alignment.Twilight Sparkle wrote:
Alignment is an important part of the puzzle. This did make me have a quick poke around in your past games to see you have done this sorta thing as town as well so, eh. List of things:
1) Llamafluff, you're not supposed to ignore me. Please respond to #640 noting the clarification given in #642.
2) Papa Zito, did you actually forget that Fate died or did you simply not know?
3) I'm not convinced re: AGar. He hasn't always looked good, but he put up 2 walls right around the time people started saying he felt off - that's a clear town tell in my book.
4) Ranmaru, why are you voting me?
5) Crazy, there's a time and place for everything.
6)hito wrote:If either of them flipped scum I'd shoot CES on policy because we'd have the tempo.
Hey! I was going to let you misspelling "jib" go, but if this is how it's going to be, don't expect any pleasantries from me.
7) DH/Nacho getting nightkilled despite being a claimed townie is noteworthy. Not entirely implausible that this was a mistake on the scum's part, which would point to scum that isn't paying too much attention.
P.S.

Now, see, I think both judgments you make in that sentence are just plain wrong. I don't think that making that type of comment is a scum tell for me; heck, I was aware I was doing the same thing as Sudo when I made the comment. And that early useful vote is 100% a null tell. Given that I tend to be somewhat unreadable, I have trouble believing you'd feel sufficiently familiar with my playstyle to declare a gut town read on me while misreading me so egregiously elsewhere.
Punkin wrote:Except there's not a trio on this list that would have missed that. This inspired me to skim Nacho's iso. He was suspicious of Ran, chk, and AGar, all three of whom are scummy on their own. Intriguing.

Interesting considering #705. CES argued against that team, saying that the possibility of a mistake undermined my speculation about a VT being killed by those three players because of his suspicions. Now he thinks they were the ones who made the mistake? Sounds like a fork in the bullshit stream.
I don't really look for scum groupings that early and as such I wasn't arguing against that team in any meaningful sense.Scumchat is awesome. Yarr!

Which is probably why I left it at that statement; it was something that I felt should be noted.

Extra Day + Extra dead scum makes all the difference.
Punkin wrote:CES: Mafia is three players who made a collective mistake.

We could've still won if we had gone with my plan instead of "hurr hurr, PZ is the doc". I was in favour of killing Cyberbob. Then I would've claimed a track result on Crazy, since he was obviously the tracker, which would've prevented him from looking confirmed by dint of his roleclaim and we'd've had a shot in 3p endgame.Scumchat is awesome. @Cyberbob, process of elimination, mostly.
[quote="Though the hard part for scum would be me vs. CES in a Tracker claim war. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't see myself getting lynched over CES. I think the scum would have had to kill Cyberbob earlier to have a chance.[/quote]
If I claim a guilty on you before you claim, I look way more credible.

Is it necessary to be insulting? Yes, we were wrong about Zito and a couple of other things. You sheeped 2/3 wof them and might have "saved the game" if you'd bothered to argue the bob kill with reasonable points. We personally caught both the cop and tracker before they claimed.
We were both wrong about plenty of things when it came to PRs - dochunting ain't easy. I'm just annoyed to lose a game this way. Though I do think you two put much stock in oddities, e.g. Plum's sonnet and PZ's absentmindedness, when it came to power role hunting.
I think follow-the-cop helped us midgame by the bye since it lead to a lazy town giving us easy mislynches on chk and ran which kept us in it.Scumchat is awesome. Yarr!
