Andrew, chesskid, DRK and TS all had amazing intuitions without tclawren, singer or I giving off many scumtells. They managed to nightkill (and therefore identify) singer the first night, roleblock me the first night, then roleblock/kill tclawren the next night. I flailed the last day I was alive. All of this was due to pure intuition with logical support (when it's usually the other way around).

No, you just want your dumb game to be recognized as someone a scummy-nominated group was in. There was absolutely nothing spectacular about the scum play in this game.

Compare it to the werewolf team I nominated. Did your scum team come from behind (behind meaning 1 person out of their 3 man team was modkilled, and they were up against another mafia team with PRs and a BP SK, as well as town) to win an 8 day game absolutely flawlessly? No? Then there was no use nominating them. Hell, it was a 13 man game and they STILL lost two of their members and they had great powers to boot; I bet you that a shitload of scum would love a mafia beloved princess. That's actually slightly overpowered in the right hands.

I mean, hell, a mafia bookie is considered very strong scum power, and you put in a MAFIA BELOVED PRINCESS, which makes it MANDATORY for scum to have a extra WHOLE night phase (not just a kill), and you think that town had more power? What was going through your mind, RC?

I'm pretty sure its better to have an extra kill than an extra night (most of the time.)

Bookies can miss. You get that extra kill, sure, but don't forget that there was an SK there (which had a better chance to kill town than scum). There's more of a risk, but there's more of a payoff, and it HAS to happen. Bookies need to predict to get their ONE kill.

Wasn't Smooth Operator new just last year? But yeah, it seems a bit like a 'well done, you didn't screw anything up noticeably' sort of award... wouldn't miss it, personally.

Tar: *shrug* The modding awards all overlap significantly anyway, because it's harder to tell where one part ends and another begins.

A lot goes into finding replacements, votecounting on time and dealing with tough issues and how fast you deal with all 3 (not to mention prodding). I think Smooth Operator has a LOT of merit and I'm in support of a Best New Mod.

I actually agree with Fate. Self-noms feel a bit cheap. Get a friend to nominate you. I would have been happy to nominate Vi as I think he deserves a nomination for it,

but I guess the thought never crossed my mind for some reason.

Tell you what, Vi. Let's do this right. You delete your nomination and we'll act like it never happened. In a week or two or three someone's going to come in and nominate you for your hard work. That way it won't have to say Vi nominated by
