Theres a difference between not posting content, and posting anti-content.

Ok, starting from where I first called Umbrage out as being a jester (which I still believe... which Haylen has refused to answer), here are my thoughts:

Beginning of #194: Pulindar apologizes. I don't like when people apologize. Townies have no reason to apologize, I usually just see them get angry when people call them out on stuff for stupid reasons. Scum are more likely to try NOT to be called out on stuff by pre-emptively apologizing. Especially if it's for something little.

Something about #194 I don't like. he just apologized again. Not really feeling the scumhunting in this post, it's more of a "look here's a wall, now everybody write me off as town, k?" kind of feeling. I admit I am overly suspicious of this kind of thing given the outcome of POWERFUL WIZARD MAFIA (where I wrote a wallposter off as town and though I nailed 2/3 of the other scum in record time, I missed him, and mislynched like 3 other guys trying to find the last scum). It was embarrassing.

Thoughts1. These seem to always form, though usually they are even more informal than the suggested idea
2. They generally tend to blind a few players, but do either force scum to capitulate to town demands or to give themselves away
3. They seem to only really work when there is only one scum group or at least no third party. I don't believe this is the case.
4. Because I know Cathryn, I feel that there are multiple groups and odd win conditions. Simple scum versus town doesn't make sense to me. Thus, I am against the alliance.

Now this part has some merit. I take back my suspicion for now.

5. I reserve the right to change my mind later after night occurs.

Numbers decrease as in, we kick the scummiest people out as the days drag on. Since we can't lynch people in the alliance, we kick them out of the alliance so that our voting pool stays populated AND so that scummy people are being considered for lynch, regardless of previous alliance "membership". This also helps the alliance from tunnelling and losing to scum burrowed deep within the alliance.

Yes, all Alliance stuff happens right here, in plain view of everyone... but WHY ARE YOU ASKING THIS?! ITS AGAINST THE RULES TO TALK ANYWHERE ELSE.

The alliance should be less than half so that the numbers in our voting pool stays strong. plus, we don't ever want the alliance to become a majority. that way, it allows scum to quickhammer people left and right with 100% impunity ("oh wait, the alliance told me to, kekekeke").

Yes, the Alliance "Leader" is no more of an alliance member than anyone else.

Honestly the slight possibility that there is a jester in the game is the reason I have not switched my vote to Umbrage. I know it's a very very slight possibility, but I'd rather wait a day and see what happens than risk it. I have not really played many games that were not open or semi open so I'm not sure how often a jester occurs on site.

Prologue

RC, depending on what happens at night it may validate or invalidate my theory that there are probably multiple scum groups. If there are not multiple groups then the alliance theory may work. Thus, while I am against it now as I don't think it will force scum to always capitulate when lynching scum, I may be for it if I think there is only one scum group.

Also, I consider wall posts to be a null tell. I use them for both scum and town. I'm too verbose for my own good.

Jesters, just like any other role are random. As far as the roles go, I remember once where people said tracker is always a town role, but in Glitch in Time (I think that was the game) tracker was a mafia role. Throwing a jester in isn't bad, but it does make things risky. Scum don't want jester's lynched either, so if they think one exists it would probably be their NK target. Because third party can steal the win from scum. Ask Haylen about the time she was SK and won.

Thats all I saw directly concerning me, now onto my case. As I said before I will make a case on Zod or I am unshunning him.

Like I said before he ignored what was happening in the game entirely. Recognized it, but ignored it. He said he was buys, and it was early on so it makes sense.
Still, he didn't need to RV if he knew cases were already forming. He could have chimed in that he was busy and told us he would shun someone later.

Other than that, he answered my questions and accused me of role fishing.
I found it interesting that he said there was no flavor text as my role pm held a lot, I forgot to mention that even though those were for individuals I still felt that they were flavor text.
He also said that he would be more active, which really hasn't happened much. But life throws unexpected turns so....

Valid point against tans on asking for a mod kill, except for the fact that he asked for either a warning, mod kill, or removal. Two of those three wouldn't help him, and in a previous post he asked for umbrage to be warned. And removed if he did it again.

As for your case on RC, what is active lurking? Why was RC not doing that?
Lastly, while you are still on Tans for what he said about warning umbrage, you never went on RC for his iso 36 & 38 where he called for umbrage to be either mod killed or replaced out. He never even asked for a warning. And his reason was a role fishing, where tans' reason was because he was personally insulted.

Epilogue

You seem to be making purposely weak cases against RC. I don't know if you're trying to throw people off or what.
On the other hand you misrepresented and attacked Tans. Then unshunning him. You've accused two people of role fishing, but ignored similar posts by other people.
I think the case against you is strong enough to hold water for now, so I confirm my shun.

I assume you're talking about me not answering questions, but that doesn't make sense, because my case on you is not about questions. It's about fake scumhunting. But for the sake of discussion, what questions did I not answer?

I asked you about this AGES ago and STILL have not gotten an answer. (HINT: This is what I mean when I say you don't answer questions.)

Didn't like that Tans didn't like RVS. Personally, that's a null tell for me as it is merely a game style preference, and I have seen other players feel that way from both town and scum.

I was trying to learn his reasoning for attacking RC. If it was because he didn't like the random voting, than that's really none of his business, and it's silly for him to try and find scum based on that since, as you said, feelings toward RVS are null.

The other reason would be because RC seemed to know when Hiraki confirmed, which when you consider the amount of time RC spends on this site, is also null. I still see no good reason for that early attack.

Secondly, I didn't see the question either and he asked several times for both Zod and you to spell it out for him because he was missing it, at no point did you. You requoted it, but that didn't help.

Exactly what was I supposed to do besides requote it and draw his attention to it? He quoted it himself, he obviously knew it was there. He should've responded properly instead of reacting only to caps lock and hiding behind juvenile behaviour. If he had an issue with the 'childish behaviour', he should've scolded Zod instead of upping the ante.

The OMGUS was his shunning me. It started when he started accusing me of defending Zod, which doesn't hold up because I found tans scummy long before he started attacking Zod. And, as I haven't seen anymore points in his case besides my 'defending' Zod, I see no reason to assume his vote is anything other than OMGUS.

Picking up where I left off:

Almost the entirety of Pulindar's #197 is IIoA. He talks a lot but there is not a lot there. Also, all of the Prologue/Epilogue stuff smacks of scummy posturing vice actual "hey I need to organize this for myself"ness. If that makes sense.

Reading through #200 makes me agree with Umbrage >.< ... I hate walls. Not writing them (I love that), I just hate reading them and trying to comprehend them. ... I mean, they have their place and all, but they definitely make caring about the game a little harder for everyone short of Superman. Which, fortunately, I am.

tans' #201 makes me wonder whether somebody who's scum would so vigorously campaign for a modkill. Even with Umbrage being as distasteful as he is, I just don't see it, unless it's some kind of gambit where Umbrage and tans are scum together, and the mod knows it, and won't kill either of them because obviously she knows that they're buddies. Or something. But other than that, I'm having trouble reading tans as scum. Umbrage, possibly to probably. But of a different kind.

Why would you say it's "too early" for an alliance? From my experience, some alliances become ripe early, some later on. But I do agree with Pulindar that multi-scum in a mini-game would make for a very confusing alliance experience indeed. If you can't handle me not telling people roles that may or may not be in the game, then by all means; Shun the game and go back to Central Island where you'll find a heap of games where each and every role is (semi-)confirmed. I am playing the game. So basically you're saying that "I cannot confirm or deny anything that may or may not be asked of me at this or any other time, whether asked with accompanying venomous threats or with genuine curiosity", right? Which is usually what I say when asked about roles. But NOT ABOUT JESTERS. i.e. If there was NOT a jester in one of my setups, I would make it perfectly clear. No Hiraki, I am not only focusing on Charlie, as should be plenty obvious.

If this is what I think it is, the Alliance exists in every game, just isn't stated. Per se, there will usually be an agreement between 2-3 players in a game that has more than or equal to 13 players. This is the only time it's been directly been stated.

That being said, a definite alliance between players is a no-no. There should be an indirect alliance rather than the direct alliance that RC is proposing. To add on, there shouldn't be a definite group of people in the alliance because that's biasing. No one likes that.

That's the end of my views on it.
