You've got to be kidding me. You mean that if the mafia spy found me as mafia and he was a complete and utter retard he would give me the double vote today.

There would be no way for that to be beneficial. If he gets killed that night (which is not that unlikely as the ability is not one scum wants around) he just managed to fuel precisely the argument you're using as his role is revealed. If he does not get killed the double vote is of little use as there are too many townies left.

The clearly correct play for the spy/vote doubler if he can investigate and found mafia would be to wait until coming night to give the double vote. If he survives that night he can reveal himself and have a day majority. If he doesn't survive it depends on how the other kills go that night whether the mafia wins the game right there.

I already gave my reasons previously (to which TSAGod never responded), but I'll repeat them again.

1. Speedlynching zu_faul. There was no protown reason to not give him a chance to talk.

2. Low participation level. Almost all his posts are 1 line only (or a quote and 1 line fromhimself). Especially before he started getting votes.

3. Voting Ibaesha for a very weak reason, similar to the one Quailman is voting me for now, but even worse.

If I were to change my vote, it'd be to TSAGod. I'm not so sure I believe in Quailman's theory on Thoth. Out of Thoth and TSAGod, TSA's behavior has been more suspicious. His last post especially raised an eyebrow. I never know if someone is trying to save their own ass because they're town or because they're scum. Changing a vote in such a manner bugs me.

Coron: The problem with your scenario is that you're assuming 100% correct lynches, which might not happen, and you're also assuming that the mafia will kill completely randomly, but they'll probably try to target someone in particular. Day 6:

Things slow down for once, but a last-minute cleanup job finds that enough of the quotes find Thoth worthy of removal to be kicked out. Final diagnosis scan reveals that he not only had the same virus as Mr Stoofer, it could put just enough of the virus' pattern on other quotes to make them seem infected as well.

Recently, for being the only one currently living not on the bandwagon. I was up for lynch until PB changed, so I can't see why the mafia would lynch thoth, so I'm assuming that they weren't on the bandwagon.

That still leaves the cult, but whatever. WORST case scenario is that they're at three people, but I'd imagine there were failed conversions.

I agree. On the surface, it can't look any scummier than that. OTOH, I would expect at least one scum to have jumped on Thoth's bandwagon before the deadline, but PeaceBringer changed when the vote was tied, and TSAGod was the first to three (and would have been the deadline lynch) - not something I'd expect from scum. TSA seemed perfectly rational in changing his vote to save his own behind. Before that it was just Ranger and me. Shamrock seems the best choice today.

I didn't vote for Thoth because I didn't think the idea that he was scum just because he had the double vote was particularly good, as by that logic Ibaesha would be scum too, but it turns out she was cult. And while I've never played in a game with a spy, the way I understand it is that the spy finds out who the mafia are at the game's very beginning. So, it doesn't seem like raj necessarily received any extra information that night, as there was nothing in his lynchscene to suggest that he didn't know who the scum were... therefore, it didn't make total sense that Thoth was scum.
