What'd I do?
Made the banner.
Joo Satisfied?
Would've been satisfied if the "Last player standing wins" goes at the bottom of the submission. I guess it worked out in the end, I guess.
How good is Leon as PM?
He's fine. Not bad, but he helped us out doing the whole Assignment #3, though.
Who're the weakest links?
Kiwieagle. Maybe Chevre. But mostly kiwi.
Misc. Question...
1You misspelled "negotiation" with 'negotion'... Derp.
Leonshade did very well, although he got sick overtime last night. I don't think there's much to do with beneficial stuffs with a time extension since it was just an Opening Post which was given to us with text to edit the stuff to make it look pretty fancy and stuff. So no mistakes.Last edited by Tragedy on Tue Aug 16, 2011 11:23 am, edited 1 time in total.I blame you for this.

What did you do during this task?
Not much, tbh. I am starting school and im overloaded with work.
Are you satisfied with your team's final submission? Is there anything you think could have been improved or that you would have changed?
Hmmm..... Maybe making it a bit less bland, but overall good job. (we should of used fonts aswell)
How do you think Leonshade performed as Project Manager?
Good.
Who on your team are the weak links?
Ehhh, probably CSLNot never dead.-

[01] For this task:
- While conversing with Cybele, I designed the banner that was selected for Assignment 4. It was my idea to place the ferris wheel within an eye, and after posing the idea to my PM, I made several drafts from which to select.
- I worked from 12:01AM-5:05AM trying to place text on the image in such a way to enhance the banner. In the end, both Cybele and I agreed that the resulting decrease in resolution diminished the aesthetic quality of the graphic, so we scrapped the text.
- I engaged in conversations both within the QT thread and with individuals via PM. I was very vocal about my opinions with font selection, post arrangement, and the overall color palette that was selected for Assignment 3. I provided praise when it was deserved, but was also quick to argue against concepts that I thought would negatively reflect on our final product.
- Lastly, I made additions to the copy that was provided for the task and helped to revise the layout of our Assignment 3 submission.
[02] Yes, I am pleased with Team Eucleia's submission. As a matter of preference, I would have liked to make the ferris wheel a little more prominent in the eye, but I think the provided work serves its purpose just as effectively. I also wish that I had been able to solve the image-text issue. With the photograph's size and the ppi level, I assumed we would have no issues with further manipulating the image, but it proved more difficult than I had anticipated. This may just be because it was almost four in the morning and I had been staring at a computer screen very closely for hours.
[03] I think Cybele was an exemplary Project Manager. Once our PM decision had been made, he immediately organized the group by creating a second QT. As the details of the challenge were provided, he quickly delegated tasks to each team member and exercised considerable creative oversight throughout the process. He provided content of his own, while at the same time ensuring that each active member had the chance to voice his or her own opinion.

Why?
Kiwi didn't really do anything for this challenge. Same for Chevre, although she posted in QT and said she was going to do something.I blame you for this.

What part in your post did you edit? Did it originally say CSL?-

No it didn't. I found a misspelling and corrected it.-

What did you do during this task?
I helped with the rule list font's and such
Are you satisfied with your team's final submission? Is there anything you think could have been improved or that you would have changed?
I hope the font I suggested was used if not than I would change that.
How do you think Cybele performed as Project Manager?
He did a great job organizing and getting everyone to work. But if he sumbitted something else that Almost half the team agreed on than bad PM.
Who on your team are the weak links, and why?
People who flaked, ergo TornadoSwirl.You Are Worth It-

EBWOP: Cybele wasn't the only one. I disliked the idea of using Papyrus as well, for reasons I can explain outside the War Room. This in no way means a great deal in the grand scheme of the team, but I just wanted to state that our PM wasn't a lone wolf opinion-wise in this case.-

I did some early work on the font and I did most of the wording.

I really really like it. I can't think of something that I would've changed.

Much better than Mists's, with no harm meant to Mist of corrse.

TornadoSwirl, for obvious reasons.

I think it's fair for several reasons. If one team needs an extension, and the other doesn't, why should we allow them to have a time extension? I was a major contributing factor to the text, and I came up with the catchphrase we put on the banner.
Final submission is poiwfect.
Leon was a great PM.
Spoon, kiwi, and Chevre didn't contribute at all. But Chevre said she'd do something, maybe we finished before she got back?
The extension point seems moot to me because neither team needed it.To be clear: quack-

You do realize that both Papyrus and Baskerville are not universal fonts, correct? They're all very Windows-centric (they've migrated over to Mac, but good luck finding them on any open-source OS)
http://www.ampsoft.net/webdesign-l/WindowsMacFonts.html is a better subset, but still not universal.-

Before I announce the winner, let's view both team's performances...
Team Eucleia
Cybele[Project Manager]
[area="Task #2, Assignment #3]
[..][.[::][::][:.][..]
Round, like a circle in a spiral;
like a wheel within a wheel.
Never ending or beginning,
on an ever spinning reel.
Like a snowball down a mountain
or a carnivale balloon.
Like a carousel that's turning
running rings around the moon.
[..][.[::][::][:.][..]
[/area]Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
past the minutes of its face.
And the world is like an apple
whirling silently in space.
Like the circles that you find
in the windmills of your mind.

Team Excel
Leonshade[Project Manager]
[area="Task #2, Assignment #3]FERRISWHEEL
Ok, here is the grave situation. All players are strapped into seats on a ferris wheel. At the highest point of the wheel, there is a machine gun that can obliterate any other player's seat. In the time they're at the highest point of the wheel, a player has to fire it before their seat starts to descend.
You all have cell phones, though, so you can try to persuade people not to shoot you, or make alliances, etc.
The last person standing wins!
This game is ridiculously simple and barely needs a mod. Just as many people as possible may sign up. I will randomly put everybody in a turn order. When it's your turn, you maykill: otherplayerin the thread. Then it is immediately the turn of the next living player in the turn order.
If you do not kill somebody in 26 hours of it becoming your turn, your grip on the gun causes your arms to be pulled off and you die. Next guy's turn.
I willnotprod people when it's their turn, that is everybody else's job! Definitely talk outside the thread if you want.
I would like to haveplayers. But I'll start it up if I can get 12ish within a few days. If people trickle in afterwards then they can just go at the end of the turn order.[/i][/area]200
