@ mod: any chance of an extension. There's still a lot of activity and we're just getting round to selection of lynch target now. I think even just a few more days would help.

I would not consider granting a deadline extension solely on these grounds, as I believe that it would be unfair to any anti-town players.

However, depending on when a replacement for sword_of_omens is found, the deadline may be modified in order to accommodate the player replacing in.

I just wanted to say, to nip any potential confusion in the bud, that I completely concur with the decision to modkill slandaar. The rules are explicit not only about its prohibition, but its punishment as well.

After the scene out in the middle of the street, it was time for the town to disperse and head back to their homes for the night. The death of poor Adele compacted with the beheading of Slandaar was alot to take in for one day. DarthYoshi and chkflip pulled their throne back into the Church of Greater St. Kutulmak for the night so the ruffians of the night wouldn't come steal the damn thing. It's pretty nice. Almost everyone got to go home this night, but there was one man that the police had quite an interest in.

"You're coming with me, bub," said the officer, pointing his gun at the man before motioning it toward the back of the squad car.

Tires peeled out one block over and several shots were fired into a single man's home. The policeman quickly jumps into his car and blasts his siren-filled lights to try to catch the culprits in the act. We all know he's going to be too damn late, he was too busy apprehending someone he thought to be a suspect. The man in the bushes seemed displeased with the current situation, but there was nothing he could do about it.

Okay, this one isn't actually an answer--you'll need to ask chk, since he writes our flavor. However, I can say that we have indeed taken requests for particular kill flavors.

Unrelated but still related--I'll work at getting links to deathscenes into the OP, but that may have to wait until tomorrow.

In the above scenario, I believe we would defer to the unimpeded roleblocker (in this case, a) meaning c would perform their action assuming no other variables. I'll double check with chk, but I think that is how we'd do it.

@Beck and Pine: Please stop. Telling someone to shut up is not a modkillable offense. I am hoping mild public shaming works in this case, because short of actually modkilling one of you even when you haven't done something modkillable yet, I don't know how I can get players to stop tattling to me. I feel like the teacher of a kindergarten from hell.
