Some of you did not have enough grain for the maintenance of your offices. The penalty is now double the price of grain in Roma, while you still have to buy the grain for week1 (and week 2 too of course, else you will get another penalty). The penalty will become higher every week, so don't forget to buy grain as soon as you can.

I changed some values, but I forgot to color what I changed, so I just put up the new image. If you really want to see the old values, I can give the links. I didn't change the values of the expensive goods yet. HackerHuck said Africa is at a disadvantage, but that's only the case with the expensive goods I'm gonna check those values later since nobody has enough money to buy spices or anything.

Myth powers are implemented when the values are fair.

Week 2 starts now!

I don't think we need a replacement, btb. Having one province unoccupied at the beginning of the game does not seem like a problem to me.

The game should have a fixed time for closing, so we can get our selling done.

In the rules it says that the week ends on either friday, saturday on sunday, so you have at least 4 or 5 days to perform all your actions. Also I warned 1 or 2 times by saying that I was nearly ending the week. About the grain: I expected people to forget that, that's why I gave just a small penalty.

I got the data from Raffles friend, he gave me a whole analysis of the game and what values need to be changed and which provinces have advantages and which don't. Too bad I already started week2, but with his help I can make the values really fair for the next week.

I guess I misunderstood the rules. In my defense, I don't think it's all that clear that the end will come by surprise, but it's not important to me anymore, obviously.

Sorry if I sounded snippy. Hope you guys have fun.

I would be interested in selling slaves and brick to Gracea.
And I would be interested in trading bricks for lumber.
Any quantites/ prices for these trades before I finish my buying phase?
Anyone else want bricks? I'll be asking 87.5ea.

Raffles, I'm not in my trading phase yet.

But how close to a deal would straight up brick for timber 1:1 be for you? We both pay 65 to buy the unit to begin with.

Sorry, I'm not interested in bricks anymore seeing as I can make more money out of selling timber rather than bricks. Plus I've already upgraded anyway.

I'm trying to guage the interest for my slaves before I buy anything.

Preferred trade - 24 slaves to Sprontic for 6 marble

Second best - 19 slaves to CES for 8 bricks

Others may make me offers as well.

I think the olive oil and wine spreads are a bit oversized with respect to Rome. We've got a few people who can sit back and trade one unit each turn to Rome and net at least 2k. I can't get close to that much in profit during a turn unless I can get someone to make a very unbalanced trade with me.
