Alright, topic one: Naturally, it is day one, and we have no evidence. Therefore, the trivialization of scumtells, regardless of its uselessness in later game, is all that we have now. I would think though that smileys are naturally not scumtells, but the reaction to votes based on this might give some indication as to the allignments of our players.

Second topic: I am glad we have gotten over our roleplaying, as it was severely impeding our game. Have we, however, come to an agreement as to which party is scum and which is not? I stand by my position that the pro-computer players are mafia, and anti-computer or computer-neutral are town. However, if someone would like to contest that, I am down for that

A] I have no idea. I thought I was going to die the day after I claimed that. I'm guessing that the scum was honestly not taking my claim seriously.
B] The reason I offered myself up is that I was thinking that I would be very soon dead anyways, and the game was at a standstill

In regards to the second part of your question:
We're at 7 now. We have to have gotten atleast one scum. Assuming we were atleast remotely lucky, this puts us tomorrow at 2scum v 4town, which is easy odds if we know who's who.

Day 5 is not far enough into a game for the mod to rationally provide a game-breaking mechanism like full role reveal, UNLESS there's some split between role and faction (like a Cult or Split game). So I'm not inclined to put too much stock in stark's claim making him eminently pro-town. Stark, without risking modkill, what "exactly" can you tell us about what you're claiming? Roles and assignments? Secret societies?
