I don't think YB is scum, the bandwagon is purely WIFOM, and I don't think rushing a BW lynch will help us at the moment.

On the other hand Jex, Samruc and Per, I feel that they are town-aligned.

I completely agree about this. I wasn’t advocating doing something based on what the mafia would or wouldn’t do. Rather, I was defending myself against your “what have you done for us” accusation. Because I’m not got to lurk quietly around because it’s only page X and day Y. I’m not going to assume that I’ll be around to share my thoughts on a later day. If I see something suspicious, I’m going to state it.

This I can fully agree with. However, in the next post EmpTyger is really overdoing the "I'm fully innocent" bit...

Now, examine the join dates of the players of this game. Mine is by far the earliest. So, barring replacement shenanigans, I expect to be a high profile target. I think there is a good chance I will not be alive D2. So if I want any chance of affecting the game, I’m going to have to do it *now*.

How does join dates affect the outcome of the game? I don't like how you're playing the paranoid card here, because your expectations seem WIFOM.

Yup. Not every bandwagon has the intention of lynching, like not every vote. Besides, the wagon was moving way too quickly.

hello all sorry for not posting lately, but been working alot this weekend...weekends are the worst for me. I will catch up and post my thoughts

The first phase is the random/joke voting phase. It’s one of the weirdest random voting stages I have ever seen (not that I’m very experienced, but anyway). I say big WTF? to lemming and Shanba. Lemming, because he seemed to be trying very hard to distract everyone from this game.

I don't see the jokevote phase that way. It's just a way to get people to start talking before we get into discussion of the format. I would say you were right about distraction if I had gone BACK to the jokevote phase after we started discussing mechanics and real votes started going everywhere.

Also I'm quite a creative person, and like my jokevotes to have a little more umph to them instead of what people usually do.

I also note a bandwagon on YB for no reason at all, probably to start discussion except it didn’t really start any discussion.

Actually it did start discussion...in fact about 3 pages of it or so.

I also don’t like Crub’s first post, just jumping on the wagon without making any other comments.

Lemming puts YB at -1 now and I really can’t believe it. You can pressure a lurker with a couple of votes to get him to post, but if the lurker persists, you don’t lynch him: you ask for him to be prodded and then replaced. Which Lemming obviously knows because he has asked for a prod on me in the same post.

Personally I find lurking scummy. To me it looks like he "gave up" after being outted. Why would someone who is innocent do that? Although I do admit that I'm used to 3 day time limit on games and 10 pages in 12 hour games, so the slow pace is a little different to me and I'm trying to adjust.

As I said, I will change my vote if he gets replaced

I find it really hard to get a read on people in this game. So far it's a jumble of votes and suspicions, but I guess that's how a game should be, I'm just not used to this style. (Lemming finds this slow )

Sir Tornado: Seems to be playing a very weird game, attacks YB and then accuses Shanba for agreeing with his "crap reasoning". If you are aware that you are using bad reasoning, why would you use it in the first place? To lay a trap? Seems like a bad tactic to get anyone (except maybe yourself) to find scum.

Crub: Adds no suspicions at all except for a vote at Sir T. I can't tell why this vote was placed. He didn't talk Sir T out of policy lynching, rather "can empathise with Sir T over it". Then he shrugs off Jex's comment, instead of trying to answer.

Ah, I get you now. I wondered how you thought unvoting was scummy in that situation, it didn't occur to me that it was unvoting so late that you were querying.

Anyway. My vote was mostly unsubstantiated. Putting pressure on a player I'm not sure on is not a bad move. Not all votes have the intent of lynching, as I said before. Yet SirT's clearly did. Which I felt was odd, given the strength of the case.

I didn't like the whole saying of "I think I know who the masons are". Even if you didn't say their names, after saying that, the masons might have started distancing themselves more. Which sounds like a good thing, but now the mafia can look for who distanced more after you said that.

Also, I didn't like the support you gave to Sir Tornado in regards to his YogurtBandit policy lynch. While I'm on the subject,
