Sim, what do you think of Erg0? Why have you ignored the dialogue between us?-

You should read it. And then you should switch to Erg0.

Of course it does; I'm just upset we didn't get more out of you earlier. I don't think anyone will lynch you before you get to make that final post, though.BrianMcQueso wrote:

Glork/Erg0 is very interesting. What makes you so sure it's a non-wagon, Erg0?Retired as of October 2014.-

Asking for the reason that you hold a particular opinion is not fishing. Calling it fishing is dropping an unnecessary breadcrumb. If you're a power role trying to stay hidden you could at least try to cover it with some logic - "because I said so" is hardly subtle.Glork wrote:

Maybe it's because you see Ergo as a likelier lynch? Bloodthirsty? Switching bandwagons this late in the day doesn't exactly surprise me. Vote stays.Simenon wrote:I can't figure out what it is, but I've found something.
I've played with Flay before, and something about his play style this game seems different to me. It's not strong enough for me to call him outright scummy, but something doesn't sit right with me. I do appreciate his contributions to the game thus far, though, and you guys should probably keep him around a bit longer.
When Glork is pro-town, he wins games. I'm not just saying that because he's my homie. He's Paragon for a reason. Going off pure metagaming, that would mean that the only reason he is still alive is either that the scum does not know this well enough to kill him (I'd give that 75%), he is scum himself (25%).
And though Glork is usually right about everything, I'm not really buying the Erg0 wagon. I see him as innocenter than some other people, and there's a few guys I'd lynch before I lynched Erg0. Glork, whoever's #2 on your list, go after them. I think your focus on Erg0 is distracting you.
Distad is all over the place. One moment he's making sense, the other he's not. I really don't know where to put him.
I'd put Cogito on neutral. I believe his activity on Day 2 will be a tremendous boon on seeing which way he's going, should he pick up his activity.
I'm putting Xdaamno on Basic Townie, which, as most of us know, is a pro-town role.
I find it ironic that Nocmen suspects me for "showing up at the last minute" even though that's exactly what he's done. I'm willing to forgive him because V/LA is a genuine excuse, but I'd be quick to accuse on those grounds. On a seperate note, I find suspicion in the fact that he did not comment on my replies to his questions, and merely voted me. I'd like to hear why you voted me, and I'd like to hear more detail than "your responses weren't satisfactory".
Very strong pro-town vibes from VitaminJ. He isn't bandwagon-hopping, and he's looking at this game objectively.
My gut tells me LML and Seol are pro-town.
It should not take my death and subsequent innocence to prove that Simenon is a fool, but it looks that is what has to happen."Only a fool quotes himself." -BrianMcQueso-

Clearly I'm missing something here. If you're implying that you've figured out something about Glork's role, it's not really relevant to a vote on me unless it's something that would allow him to know both BMQ's alignment and mine. I think my question was perfectly legitimate, and it's not like I'm voting for Glork based on his answer. I just don't agree with his methods."You were doing well until everyone died."

"Stop fishing" is just as bad as "because I said so". It's such an obvious breadcrumb that you might as well hang out a sign. My point is that if Glork really wanted me not to press him on the matter then his best response would have been to provide a reason, even if it was a fabricated one.
Glork is a good enough player that I have a hard time believing that such an obvious breadcrumb was any kind of accident. I think that he was fully aware of what he was implying with that comment, and you'd have to be some kind of idiot not to see such an unsubtle hint. Whether I pressed him on it or not, you can be sure that it would be seen by everyone who was paying attention in the slightest.
Would you buy it if I'd just said "don't vote for me, but I can't tell you why"?"You were doing well until everyone died."

Going off of distad's last count, I *think* we're at:
BMQ - 2 (CES, VitR)
Simenon - 2 (BMQ, Flay)
Erg0 - 2 (Glork, Simenon)
VitR - 1 (Xdaamno)
Not voting: 3 (distad, Erg0 and Nocmen)
That means no one's ready to be lynched. I'd rather lynch Simenon (or VitaminR) than either of the others, but I'll switch to avoid a No Lynch, which would be decidedly unhelpful.
I know Simenon's claiming brainstorm, but that looks for all the world like "oh, I see what role he was breadcrumbing now", and that doesn't sit right with me.
BMQ: What you're probably seeing is me vastly over-extended. I'm modding like 12 games right now, and accidentally playing in four. I should be at more like 5-2....Retired as of October 2014.-

As for Erg0, I sort of become more worried about him with what Glork points out in 393. The main reason now of why I am not voting him is I do not like the style Glork just goes and attacks him. While he has valid points, his constant bashing of Erg0 seems slightly scummy on his own, and I'm not sure if this is all a ploy or not.
Simenon's sudden change of heart is also crazy of how he seems so against BMQ, and after a quick read just votes for Erg0.
And Flay, I'm voting for BMQ.-

I had just read that bit, actually, so glrok's post was new to me.
Horrible excuse, but that's just it.
Whether I pressed him on it or not, you can be sure that it would be seen by everyone who was paying attention in the slightest.
If it is a breadcrumb for a power role, well, nobody saw it when glrok originally said "don't consider voting bmq".
If it's not a breadcrumb, it just shows how serious glrok is about not lynching bmq, so there is something that both of us aren't seeing and glrok doesn't want to tell anyway. As you said, he's a good player, so he must have found something good.
I would push you, but "don't vote for him" and "don't vote for me" are quite different imho.Would you buy it if I'd just said "don't vote for me, but I can't tell you why"?SEND THE VECTOIDS
