Huh? Am I the only one who is confused?
I was a paranoid cop in our last game that claimed Day 2. After three
very
long days and three
very
long nights (and lots of bad playing), the town lynched me on the grounds that someone2 was the sane cop. We lost of course.

This, to me, seems incredibly odd and out of sorts. Almost too polite. It seems forced. Faked. It reminds me of the Mafia Buddying Up Technique.

I'll place the first non-random vote.

There's nothing wrong with the a little civility once in a while.

Your post doesn't sound forced? How many different ways do you have to mention that my post sounded a little bit off?

I agree that it sounds like you're trying to make a case out of thin air. Fortunately, my random vote is already on you. I see no reason to remove it for now.

Hypocritical is wrong.. more like pointing out possible pairings. I thought the Rishi post was odd, along with Claus's post, with yours directly afterwards. Both just seemed... odd.

Rishi's post screamed "untrue" hence the vote. The correlation of you and Claus was not strong enough at that point.

And I get to form the first bandwagon - yay! :-P
You don't get to form ANY bandwagon without the town believeing in you. What do you expect me to do? Twiddle my thumbs and not be aggressive? I implore you, check out ANY of my games. I am hyper aggressive.

It catches scum an awful lot. You may be scared of the best mafia performance button by my name, but the year before that, I was the paragon of mafia hunters.

Pairings are important to look at, especially after we gain valuable information through lynching and NKs. Instead of just documenting these pairings in my notes, I give them to everyone to read. It tends to make scum very nervous.

So, Claus, are you nervous?

Scum however are forced to make cases out of thin air are they not? Day one, two whenever.

I'm not admonishing LML for going after Rishi but you seem awfully quick to jump to his defence. Scum buddying up to town perhaps.

Plus I thought what with your title you'd be shamelessly bandwagonning :P

Wow... let me count...

You are bashing me here with appeal to authority, read-my-previous-games-I'm-like-that-shut-up, intimidation, AND patronizing. That is REALLY charming, LML ;-)

(Oh, and I hadn't noticed your little button - congratulations!)

I'll be without internet until sunday evening - until them, I don't think it will hurt leaving my vote on you, you seem to like it.

I'm with LML on this one. "Making cases out of thin air" is about all you can do two pages into the game, but LML is voting based on behavior.

Even aside from what Lee thinks, trying to start a bandwagon (and even blatantly stating so!) on something that seems like no more than OMGUS reasoning seems awfully scummy to me.

Wow, Claus' behavior is very scummy, but I think what he did was just to get the game starting, and it worked. However, the fact that he isn't defending himself but just trying to humiliate LML is scummy.

I dislike Clause more than Rishi now. Claus was hypersensative to my posts and pressure, and seems more nervous than frustrated.

Unvote, but IGMEOY: Rishi.

Honestly, I don't think the case on LML is that strong. But it's the most suspicious behavior I've seen so far. So, for now, my vote stands.

Why are you sad about the random stage ending, Streeflo? Just curious... I hate the random stage. I realize that it's generally necessary, but it's not fun to play.

Then I think we'll get along just fine.

But why are you still saying I'm nervous, and not frustrated? I don't feel either nervous OR frustrated: It is too early in the game for either ;-)
kuribo wrote:Claus, why are you trying to form a bandwagon on such shaky ground?
Because it gets people talking. Why do a meaningless random vote when you can get people accusing and defending you by doing something a bit more bold?

For instance, someone2: You said my behavior is very scummy twice. Can you elaborate on that, or are you saying I'm scummy because a lot of people seem to be saying that too?

Sorry, in post 35, I tried to say that your behavior seemed very scummy but it wasn't because you wanted to get the game going. After that I said that the thing that was scummy you did was to not explain yourself in post 33 but just kind of humiliate LML...

Your second votecount, brought to you by TomTom SatNav- allowing you to find your way back to the mini normal you've so carelessly neglected:

LoudMouthLee 2 (Rishi, Claus)
rite 1 (Beastly)
Claus 2 (BrianMcQueso, LoudMouthLee)
Streeflo 1 (someone2)
Beastly 1 (Lowell)
death_omen 1 (kuribo)

Lowell has been prodded
. Everyone else has posted on this page, so no-one stands out as being particularly inactive. Deadline remains, for now.

I don't know, I think it's more fun than Day 1 as a whole. The juicy mid and end game are the best of course =D
