I don't like that. It shouldn't hurt you that much. Just a warning.

I like his assumption better.Gorrad wrote:I'd assume people who have things like M&Ms or Peanut-butter Cookies have a good deal of them, as they come in packs. They could be our FoSs. Call me dense, but I have no idea what this is supposed to be referring to.Battle Mage wrote:Wow, way to go Mr Defensive. Didn't even stop to look whether the food getting thrown at you was REAL!?
Disliking Gorrad for alternating between "let's test this" and "nobody throw anything" for the early portion of the game. Also don't like Waar's lack of contribution to this point. We could use a post or two from TSS as well - I'm not throwing anything yet either, but I feel I have at least some responsibility to make the occasional post."You were doing well until everyone died."

JDodge gave clear warning on the 7-Up in 139.
And it's not just those two - although not food-related, your reaction to BM calling "bandwagon" was over the top, I think. You seem to spend a lot of time asking people for reasons, even on their "unofficial" votes."You were doing well until everyone died."

Agree with this. I don't plan to wait for the next graph to check whether someone's really attacking me or not.Nightfall wrote:P.S. BM your post 181 I think is BS. I'm getting the impressio nthat the role PMs are not consistent between players.
BM, the problem with the jester conversation is that if Skruffs was Sir T's scumbuddy then he wouldn't be trying to dissuade you from thinking Sir T is a jester. It would be to the scum's advantage for you to believe that Sir T was a jester. So how is Skruffs defending Sir T by saying he believes that his lynch would not bring negative repercussions?"You were doing well until everyone died."

Thanks, you simplified that for me.Yeh, the post by Erg0 made sense, but it ignored the fact that i didn't say you were defending Sir T because of the Jester argument, i said that your attacking of me, and total ignorance of Sir T showed a strong defence of him.
Actually, you're pretty inconsistent on this point. The statement that I was picking up on was this one:
[/quote]BM (Post 280) wrote:If you dont think Sir T is a Jester, why have you not cast your food at him?
I'm getting defensive scumbuddy vibes here.
As I said above, if Skruffs and Sir T were scumbuddies then "he's not a jester" would be bussing rather than a defence."You were doing well until everyone died."

I approve of this question. skitzer's post looks kind of like he's trying to emulate the behaviour that others have called pro-town.pickemgenius wrote:skitzer wrote:BTW, Yamahako is at 40ish now. Halfway on anybody is probably where I'll stop.

I don't really like skitzer's play, he's low on the chart right now, and I want to get some idea of how much damage my food is going to do. I've hit the point where the balance between my limited supplies and my suspicions has been reached."You were doing well until everyone died."

I'm pretty sure it's been confirmed that it doesn't matter how you throw your food.JordanA24 wrote:Mod:Does the way we throw food at people affect how much damage we do? (eg. The way in which you push a bogus theory about such a pattern which is so hugely inconsistent with your own claim, is hilariously scummy. I'm disappointed that skitzer appears to be out of range for a lynch, though there does seem to be a good percentage of the food still at large. I'm going to hang on to my scarce resources for a little longer so that I can hopefully do some good with them."You were doing well until everyone died."

I think that there are combinatinos of foods that make 'more of a mess' and therefore cause mroe damage. For example, if someone is sticky with nacho cheese, then french fries and chopped onions will stick to them more. It says in the rules that there will be unexpected results after throwing food - to write off someone you think is scummy is bad. You're kind of defending him.Thatwas predictable. Way to set me up to look scummy now that I'm doing this:
Hurl Diet Coke at skitzer.
Check back, I had an issue with him long before this wagon started."You were doing well until everyone died."

Sorry if I missed this, but how does the School Secretary being town fit in with this theory?Gorrad wrote:The way I see it, the first kill was made by the administration-mafia. Administration is used in the literal sense here. There's usually a group of high-ups in the school called the administration- this includes principal, vice-principals, department heads, and other people who don't teach but handle administrative affairs. This would sometimes include the librarian, but never the lunch lady. In this scenario, they are getting rid of students- probably budget cuts or something (http://www.scarygoround.com/index.php?date=20051011).
Also, that flavour definitely seems to point at Skruffs, perhaps as an SK. I'm going to try and re-read his stuff from day 1 and hope that my head hurts less this time."You were doing well until everyone died."

I meant 'with regard to BM', not anyone's case against anyone. I'm just observing, not encouraging - I doubt he needs encouragement from me.Skruffs wrote:
Do you mean my 'case' against BM or BM's 'case' against me? Just to verify.Erg0 wrote:In BM's case it'sdefinitelyplaystyle.
If you think that BM is 'acting scummy' because that's just his playstyle, then why are you trying to goad him into acting MORE of that way? What I mean is, why would you write it off as a nulltell AND encourage it at the same time? If it's a nulltell than you are giving him a free pass to be as destructive and distractive as he wants."You were doing well until everyone died."

Welp, Albert's nothing if not reliable. I'm getting a sense of deja vu here...
ABR's not chasing this hard enough to be genuinely claiming or to be scum. This goes on the "ignore" pile, though his role may be genuine (if not his flavour).
I buy Fonz's claim, and by extension I buy Skruffs as innocent. I'm not 100% convinced of Tar's claim, but I don't think BM is scum so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. I still have lingering bad feelings about Gorrad from day 1, though I suppose the allergy thing fits with the biggest problem I had with him (his OTT reactions to food thrown at him).
Let's see, who does that leave? I guess I need to look back a bit further."You were doing well until everyone died."

All this kamikaze alpha strike nonsense is getting on my nerves. (of course, so are those saying we shouldn't "waste food" in a food fight game)."You were doing well until everyone died."

That's true, but it shows that there was a high level of suspicion on him from the start of the game. Once it became clear that there were mutiple cops of different flavours (namely when I died on night 2) an innocent result shouldn't have counted for much. I don't recall seeing anyone mention the breadcrumb I dropped for my innocent result."You were doing well until everyone died."
