Rite, can you tell me why you are not even considering the someone2 wagon? Because here's the current wagons:
Lowell 3 (rite, Happiest Sadist, LoudMouthLee)
someone2 3 (CTD, Setael, Ibaesha)
Happiest Sadist 2 (Lowell, kuribo)
If you moved your vote to someone2, it would put him at 4 and his lynch would achieve the same means you seem to be aiming for with a lowell lynch - to just end the day and get moving. Do you have concrete reasons for believing someone2 to be town?
That being said, I need to reread Lowell. Where he got down to -1 it seems like if he was town, scum would've ensured he got lynched. If he's scum, it makes sense that attention was deflected. I guess it's possible all the scum was already on the wagon. I'll reread and post my thoughts.-

See, this is why I wanted Lowell to do some work and post a list of suspicious people. He is entirely leaving his options open to vote whoever he wants, whenever he wants.
I did a quick meta-read on Lowell and noticed that he has posted lists of suspects in other games.
Lowell is uncooperative. That's not as bad as being a lurker, but lurking is not necessarily an indication of alignment. There are lots of reasons (mostly real world reasons) why someone might lurk, while there are fewer reasons why a present player would continue to be unhelpful.
Vote: LowellTaking a break from MS. Please send e-mail if you want to get in touch with me.-

Also, I'm not saying scum would've dropped the hammer, but maybe they'd have kept attention on until you got lynched. Your last post seemed very town since I'd think if you were scum you'd support the someone2 wagon to avoid being lynched. I guess this is a WIFOM argument, since that could be what you want us to think. In either case, I'd like to hear your reasons for thinking someone2 is town.-

If we're just going to randomly lynch someone for the purpose of jumping out of day, then we could just as easily lynch you, no?rite wrote: Let's lynch Lowell, have our first night, then use some cold hard evidence and look back at the utter clusterf*ck that is this day one so we can really have a game of mafia.-

With another vote on Lowell, your argument is no longer relevent, but I'll defend myself: If the bandwagon on someone2 was close to lynch while Lowell's was obviously dead, I most likely would have switched votes, yes. However as I've mentioned before, on my personal scumometer, Lowell's actions have been by far the most scum-like, so as long as the Lowell bandwagon seems viable, that's where it's going to stay.Setael wrote:Rite, can you tell me why you are not even considering the someone2 wagon?-

Oops, sorry I didn't see your comment, Kuribo:
Perhaps I haven't been clear: I never have advocated simply choosing a random person and killing them so that the day might end (hate this day as I do). Rather, I find myself baffled that Lowell was within one vote of a lynch, with several other non-voting players seeming to question his tactics, yet he somehow escaped and this day continues due mainly to inaction.-

Well, it looks like the lynch is going to be random. Even if Lowell isn't helpful, at least he's present. On the other hand, someone2 floats in and out.
Also, No Lynch is bad for the town. As per the rules of this game, we need seven votes to lynch.
Unvote, Vote: someone2Taking a break from MS. Please send e-mail if you want to get in touch with me.-

Didn't get a chance to reread, but my vote is where it's supposed to be, on the vote leader.
Would really appreciate it if we could get a lynch here.Mgm laughed nervously, his cheeks flushing in the faintest of blushes. "Patrick... I only wanted to be with you... that's why I put the game to night, so Glork would get killed." - the heartwarming conclusion of Face to Face Mafia-

We need someone2 to claim. I'm guessing some of these actually need replacing, but just in case...
mod: can we get a prod on someone2, LML, Happiest Sadist, Streeflo, and deathomen (Or can you let us know which have/have not picked up already made prods?)
If we can get a few of them to check in, maybe we can avoid a no lynch.-

The angry citizens of new Catania had gathered in the town square. 'He looks Italian, lynch him!' yelled one. 'Everyone looks Italian, Dumbass!' cried another. 'What about the French guy?" asked another. "Lynch him- he doesn't support the troops!" There was a general murmur of agreement at this suggestion.
But just as the offending individual was about to be strung up, the citizens looked around the square with alarm. Where'd the guy with the rope go? In fact, where was everyone? It appeared that a few of them had gotten so worked up, they hadn't noticed most of the town going home for pizza. Unable to lynch without rope, the citizens sloped off back to their homes, hoping to fill their own stomachs with delicious cheese and tomatoey goodness, and praying to whatever Gods motivated them that Panucci's associates (or anyone else, really) wouldn't be paying them a surprise visit tonight.
Final Votecount of Day one:
Lowell 2 ( Happiest Sadist, LoudMouthLee)
someone2 6 (CTD, Setael, Ibaesha, Lowell, Rishi, Rite)
Happiest Sadist 1(kuribo)
Not voting: death_omen, Streeflo,someone2
With seven required to lynch, there has beenno lynch. It is now night one. Those with night actions, please get them to me ASAP. Day will begin when I get the replacement issue sorted, pretty much.-

Ibaesha wasn't the kind to worry. Oh no. When she felt something was wrong, she could be relied upon to do everything she could to get it sorted out herself. So it would be no surprise to those who knew her that Ibby was out last night, trusty .45 in hand, seeking out the scum who were terrorising the town she was proud to call home.
Unfortunately for Ibaesha, some nefarious element had received word of her little crusade. When she returned home, just before sunrise, from her patrol, hoping to quickly shower and grab a bite to eat, someone was waiting there for her. Before Ibby could react, she was riddled with bullets, and collapsed to the ground in a crumpled heap, quite dead.
The morning news that day carried reports of the crime, and glowing tributes to Ibby from her friends and neighbours, all of whom expressed a strong desire to see the scum responsible for this vile act brought to justice. As yet, there were no reported leads as to the perp's identity.
The eleven of you remaining gather yourselves in the town square, with a renewed sense of purpose, determined to see someone swing before the day is out.
Ibaesha,Vigilante, has been murdered.
It is now day two- with eleven alive, six votes are needed for a lynch.
Today will have an auto-deadline of one month from today, January 7th.-
