Yeah, good point YL. The only people who would answer no would be /in who didn't use their shot, which makes them easy targets for the mafia.

Well, I'm disappointed that an /innie shot Jordan. This takes two townies away from our game, essentially.

Alan, your tables have been helpful. Thanks.

Skitzer, I really don't think you're dead.

alan, while I appreciate your tables and all, doesn't posting them give the scum less people to choose from to shoot at? After all, they may agree with your analysis and just decide to NK people who you assume are /in. That table, while it's nice to see that someone is thinking about it, doesn't really help the town AT ALL. We're supposed to be hunting for scum, not just determining who is /in. Although it's bad to waste bullets on /outies, it might be a better idea for each /innie to try to determine who is /in on their own.
1) Like I said before, if there is a list of suspected /innies, the scum have a better chance of hitting /innies and making the game done with faster.
2) It's only your opinion, other people might disagree.

If the town doesn't know who's /in in the first place how do we hit scum? Scum already can all talk about who is /in and compare notes. Individual town is just one head thinking about who they think is /in, we should have the same benefit as the scum by all comparing.

Somewhat predictably, I don't think activity is indicative of being /in.

I'd also say finding the scum is likely to be a subset of finding who is /in. The town figuring out who's /in probably benefits the town more than scum, albeit there was no kill last night. But the scum has much better odds to hit a townie, and they can keep shooting indefinitely.

Obviously the town needs to know who's in, but posting a giant list does help the scum, as it gives them something to work with at the least. I'm saying that if we get stuck talking about someone or a couple of people, we could discuss their /inness one at a time rather than giving the scum a huge list to choose from.

hasdgfas: I'm not sure which is best, at the moment. Quite certainly, at some point in the future, the town will need to know (everyone) who is /in. Piecemeal might work.

Cephrir: Um, quite clearly it matters who gets shot. Hurr?

I don't follow.

I would hypothesize than Alan is /out, but I'm not sure yet.

I agree in principle that townies shouldn't be /in-fishing, which is what I said in the last screw the players game, describing it as being akin to role-fishing. But, in the end, being open about who we thought was /in actually helped the town.

But, I think it's too early to be having these discussions. /out players (most of them) leave the game eventually. When there are fewer players posting, talking about who's /in is more productive. hasdfafdds is right that at the moment it is more likely to aid scum than town.

Well, I usually go on the theory that the more information the town gathers, the better off they are. And yes, a good portion of my list is opinionated. oEJo, you're welcome, although I didn't really finish my table yet. That's about all I have to say right now.

ok thread re-opened at 4:07am my time zone. It is just before midnight now in my timezone. If the thread is not locked in 4-5 hours than skitzer lives and should be the one to shoot someone. Those with preference on target or other things who should voice there opinion.
Day 2. Scum hitted air
Also anyone know exactly what hit air means. Did the scum shoot an /out or was a choice not sent in to the mod?

@Mod-Kaledoscope, if you are allowed to answer this question please do.

Yes, but I've announced several times that I am /out. I expect you all to take that at face value.

So I would expect the other person who is /out to initiate the conversation.

I don't think that bullet claiming will give us inforamtion, but I can imagine that scum gains more info from it. They hitted air once. I guess they will target someone on Jordans kill or on todays kill tonight but with the claiming they still have miore insight on who to shoot and who not.

I will consider the voting format and its consequenses during the weekend. But please all town, spare the bullets a bit.

It probably means they targeted an /outie.
